What a start to the NBA season so far! Dame with 39 in a tremendous win over Philly, Cam Thomas explodes, and Desmond Bane is still Desmond Bane. For Basketball Card buyers, this is an exciting time to learn some new names like Jalen Johnson, Derek Lively III, and maybe even Kelly Oubre Jr.
But for many of our listeners, the first week of the NBA simply affirmed the players and stars we've been waiting to see for months finally get to show off on the court. SGA, Ant, Maxey, Vassell, IQ, Haliburton, and even PJ Washington joined the party. Todays' episode shares Gary's early reactions to the season debuts of all these guys, and some perspective about all of our early reactions. He's not the next Steph Curry. But he is way better than the card market realizes, and has virtually his whole NBA life ahead of him. Today on HoopsandCards, Gary makes the case for Kings' sharpshooter De'Aaron Fox, arguably the fastest player in the NBA. Fox's 2017 rookie cards are under-graded, under-valued, and worth prioritizing before next NBA season, especially for Kings fans!
