Martial Law is declared as Springwell faces more unrest. The stranger appears to leave town and a caller sends a gift from the lab.
Springwell is a ghost town as curfews and paranoia move residents away from the city center. The stranger provides an explanation for the unrest as the military appears to know more than they have let on.
Springwell further deteriorates under the pressure of hysteria and instability. Government lockdowns frustrate violent residents
The promised return to normal takes a chaotic turn as Springwell enforces a curfew and the Stranger warns of dangerous technology
The military continues to offer explanations for the unusual week when the Colonel and Nick get rudely interrupted
