Enjoy the early morning dawn chorus at Lake Ngaroto near Te Awamutu in the  Waikato.  Listen carefully and you'll hear the ducks quacking in the distance.
This recording was made at Dotterel Point Reserve in Pukehina - a beach and township located in the Western Bay of Plenty District and Bay of Plenty Region of New Zealand's North Island. The endangered dotterel is found only in New Zealand.  (Maori name: Tuturiwhatu)
