The Magical Women Podcast

From Bath, Somerset, Natasha Oliver-Cork grew up around theatre and countryside where she would daydream for hours on end and create stories and characters. One of her songs, Seed, was developed in a Neurodivergent led Magical Women’s writing workshop. In Conversation with Gemma Abbott, Natasha opens up about how the understanding of her neurodiversity has meant a rediscovering of her authentic voice. She describes the power this offers on her perspective of the world, and how it affects her own practice as an actor-musician and writer, currently in her second year studying Acting at Drama Studio London. Episode produced and edited by Elinor Rowlands for Magical Women

This episode features 5 songs by Natasha Oliver-Cork that are nourishing, nurturing and echo the state of the times during Covid19 for ND artists.  Episode produced and edited by Elinor Rowlands for Magical Women  www.magicalwomen.co.uk

Our Summer Artist of the Season 2020, explores her art practice, in conversation with Roseanna Chew. Louise's precious and sacred skills thread joy from fauna & flora to become works of art, warmth and magic. We're thrilled to have showcased her beautiful work throughout Summer 2020. This version does not have our Magical Women podcast intro tune! This is because for some reason I couldn't figure out how to add to our current MW podcast on Spotify so after many video tutorials, I'm finally here, on a different podcast page.... sigh.... so if you want the episode with our wonderful MW intro tune, it can be found here: https://open.spotify.com/episode/0iIbcMO7CGFNbxzhnxCoDe?si=rNtQVPmrTeuMfgvdAVAlnQ

Our Autumn artist of the Season 2020, Anna Dyson discusses her work with Roseanna Chew.

Wendy Young brings us a poem she wrote during Covid19 and Christmas. This might not be completely jolly but it captures the isolation, grief and hard memories that Covid19 can bring so many of us during the festive season.  Magical Women is an arts project that platforms ND women's art and words.
