Released in 1983 for the 25th-anniversary celebration of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. NASA presented The Space Story, featuring James Beggs, NASA's 6th administrator. This is an excerpt from an extremely hissy, public domain, cassette recording, which demands extreme willpower to listen, especially the entire recording, but I hope that you do. For me, it is a special reminder that we've done so many wonderous things to explore and understand the place in which we live and that ahead with its challenges, there are more amazing adventures to be had if we have the willingness to seek them out and with joy.
