Most of us accept that life lessons are a part of the deal. I'm starting to see that maybe those lessons are also about the bigger picture. Perhaps the things and desires that we want and don't achieve are there to help us help others. This past week I was invited to speak to students at Notre Dame in the entrepreneurial program. What I shared with them wasn't about success. It was about the hard lessons I had learned. I wouldn't have been invited to share if I hadn't had those lessons. This episode is about viewing our story from a longer lens and trusting that everything good or bad happening to us is a part of the plan for us to contribute to others.
Whatever your intention, getting a clear vision is the first step. Then you've got to hold that vision when the challenges hit. The bigger the vision, the bigger the heat.  I've seen this happen over and over again in my life. I'll share specific examples to understand how this process plays out.
What is an AFGO? Well, my friends, it's Another Freaking Growth Opportunity. It doesn't typically feel good or luck pretty, and it's here for our betterment. Let's investigate how we can turn this distinction into a stepping stone to our leveling up.
It's groundhog again... and just like the campy flick from 1993, we can get caught in a loop.  Do you ever feel like you are repeating the same day over and over again? Are you stuck in a rut that you didn't even know you were in?  Maybe it's time to break up the patterns, relationships, and situations that no longer serve you.

Ready, Set. Reset! It's mid-January, and stats say 68% of us have already given up on our NY's Resolutions or think our goals may not be attainable this year.
The holiday season is an excellent time for reflection. Taking a note from the beloved classic A Christmas Carol, we will explore the power of contemplation. What keeps us from starting something new? Is it a fear or concern for how bad we might be at first? How might others view us? How often do we permit ourselves to suck at something? In this episode we look at what access do we have to hitting a home run. The key to hitting our version of a "home run" we find out is getting at bats.
