In Church, we will be hurt sometimes, then what?
When the rapture occurs, it will be a shock to the saved and the lost. But for the lost, this day that started out normal will be the worst day of their life.
Forgiving those who have hurt or disappointed us and asking forgiveness of those we have hurt or disappointed.
God has entrusted us with our children. The most important thing we can do for our children is to teach them about God.Everything else should take second place.
The title says it all. Being a Christian does not guarantee that every day will be great, the road is smooth with clear weather. Life is difficult sometimes but Following Jesus, no matter how smooth or bumpy the road, the destination will be worth it all.
Has something ever happened to you that just takes the wind out of you. Broken relationships, sickness, death, loss of a job or it could be one of a thousand other possibilities. on today's podcast we try to point out that God is working behind the scenes for His people to fulfill His purpose in our life,
Pastoring a church is a rewarding profession and at the same time can be stressful not only to the pastor but also to their spouses and children. We owe our pastor respect. We as his flock should not make his job more difficult than it already is. They watch for our souls.
Spiritually speaking, our priorities are like the thermostat in our home. no matter how good our heating and air conditioning system is, if the thermostat is messed up, the heating and air conditioning are all but worthless. our priorities are the same. when our priorities are off, our spiritual walk is off. when our priorities are in order, everything else will line up.
Do you ever look forward to Heaven. Every Christian should anticipate this day, The day when God the Father, Jesus the Son, and God the Holy Ghost bring Heaven down to the new earth. The Holy city New Jerusalem descends down from Heaven and the new Earth will be our dwelling place. No more sorrow, suffering or pain. What a glorious day that will be.
May we guard our lips when it comes to complaining. We do a great disservice to the Kingdom of God when we complain, especially if it's a habit.
Have you ever observed a person who is physically blind. They may have a cane or even a dog to lead them. but, the sad fact is, they are still blind. Today i see something that is far worse than physical blindness, It is spiritual blindness. People that are blind to the fact that they are lost without God. And, even if they become aware of their plight, they still refuse to acknowledge their need of God and His Son, Christ Jesus.
We all are going to live forever somewhere. The question is,are we going to live with Jesus, God the Father and the Holy Ghost in eternal bliss,,, or because we rejected God, be condemned to an eternal lake of fire. God has fixed an escape route. Are we going to take the route or not.
Many people have a preconceived idea of what defines someone of being a Christian. Let's take a few minutes to examine what the Word of God has to say about this subject.
There is a new craze (trend) sweeping through many churches, especially in the USA. The trend is affirming people in their sin but not calling on these folks to repent and turn to Jesus. No matter what the idol we may have in our life, God is calling on ALL of us to repent and turn to Him for forgiveness of sins through His son, Jesus Christ, the one and only way to God.
After becoming a Christ follower, we are all called to serve in some capacity. We may not be a preacher, teacher, deacon, singer or musician, but we can all serve.
May we all realize why this is the most joyous time of the year.
I am very afraid that in these last days many people are not living in reality. Also, many Christians, I am afraid have been rocked to sleep by the devil. My prayer is, is that we all would examine our life and make any adjustments that need to be made.
What kind of an influence are we having on our kids. The influence MIGHT be the determining factor on whether our kids will be a follower of Christ or not.
We are in trouble folks. Our country needs to return to a biblical foundation upon which we were founded. We need preachers to return to God’s word and allow God to bring us healing.
