Travis Atreo is a singer, songwriter, producer, audio engineer and actor originally from Seattle, Washington,  but is currently based in Los Angeles, California. He is formerly known as the lead singer of the band, "New Heights." Growing up in the white suburbs in Chicago, Trace Gaynor is a 2nd generation Filipino American He graduated with a degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism at the University of Southern California (USC).  Prior to singing with The Filharmonic, he was holding the esteemed title of Musical Director for his a cappella group, the USC Troy Tones. Although he illustrates a boyish demeanor onstage, Trace is very business minded and takes a lot of pride in The Filharmonic’s social presence.  So if you ever get a heartfelt reply or a cute emoji, chances are you can thank Trace for that. Growing up do you remember watching and/or reading graphic novels like Japanese Mangas? Well, did you know that there is a production company based in Austin, TX which is an American video production company which is a subsidiary of Other Media which is another subdivision of Warner Media. Growing up did you ever feel like you saw yourself on screen (especially in animation)? Well, there's a new cartoon on PBS Kids that features Filipino stories written by Filipinos.  In today's episode, we spoke with Jalysa Leva, an animation director and creator of Jelly, Ben & Pogo, a cartoon series that stars three friends who help their neighbors and each other by identifying a problem and working together to find a solution. This all happens while also weaving in Filipino culture, including Tagalog, music, and of course, food.
