The meaning of the word “double -mindedness” means to have varying or opposing views at different times. This is a Biblical term. Why is it relevant to loyalty? Because the Bible says that’s to be double-minded is to be divided between the things of God or the world. This episode discusses instances in which we find ourselves so easily torn between what we know and what we wish we didn’t.

The 'Wait'

The 'Wait'

2021-04-2617:47

Do you trust God when His answer is, wait? Many of us are believing in God for something in our lives right now. It may be a marriage, a child, a new job, financial freedom, or physical healing, but it feels like God is radio silent. It feels like He’s not hearing us or He’s not listening, but that is not the God that I know. Sometimes when God says nothing at all, it’s because He wants us to WAIT. Sometimes the waiting season is protection and other times it’s just God perfecting everything before He gives it to us because remember that His ways are not our ways - they are far better! This episode talks about what to do and how to pray in your waiting season. It talks about God' promises over your life and provides you encouragement for The 'Wait.' Self-care on a Budget

Self-care on a Budget

2021-04-1218:30

People always talk about 'pouring from a cup that is 'full', but what about being able to pour from a cup that is OVERFLOWING? That is my desire for myself and for everyone. I believe when we practice self-care and self-love, we become closer to being able to become so 'full' that we have more than enough to give others (and ourselves). Unfortunately, many of us do not prioritize self-care and that is why we are 'tired', lack confidence and feel 'worn out.' This episode discusses why it is important to practice self-care, why it is good, how self-care pleases God, and how to SAVE while doing it!  Encourage yourself and someone who needs to practice more self-care by listening to this episode and sharing it with them so they can do the same!  P.S. What happens when the thing holding you back in life is YOU?  This episode is the second part of a two-part episode that discusses how we recognize threats and how the things that seem 'normal' or are comfortable are holding us back from your purpose, from being a better person, from loving ourself more and even from being happier. The process is called SELF-DISCOVERY and at the 'end' of it, what we achieve is self-mastery and self-mastery is FREEDOM. It is not enough to look at the outside, what we must do in addition to paying attention to the exterior is look internally and become more aware of WHO WE (really) ARE and the things that we do/allow that are holding us back from being the best version of ourselves.  Dive into this episode if you are on a path of self-discovery or you are looking for some encouragement to start. If you saw a threat right now, would you recognize it and know how to handle it? Many of us aren't recognizing threats because they are disguised as things that are seemingly ‘normal’, including out own thoughts and things that seemingly make us 'happy.' This episode talks about all of this and how to recognize threats, and shares a very personal experience with thoughts (specifically depressive ones) and how dangerous they can be. P.S. selective unbelief

selective unbelief

2026-04-0721:44

This episode delves into the concept of what I call, "selective unbelief", exploring how faith can fluctuate in our lives and why we often struggle to believe in areas where we haven't yet seen God' promises fulfilled. Through biblical examples and personal reflections, it offers practical insights for strengthening your faith walk. Key topics include understanding selective faith, the importance of complete faith, and practical steps to cultivate unshakeable belief through scripture and personal reflection.Biblical stories highlighting faith and doubt including Sarah, Peter, and AbrahamResources & Links:Hebrews 11: Faith in ActionMark 9: Prayer for Help with UnbeliefIsaiah 55:8-9 - God's Higher Ways
In this episode, we explore the powerful story behind the hymn "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and how its history offers us lessons on grief, prayer, and finding solace in God's presence. Join us as we reflect on the significance of turning to God in our times of need and the privilege of carrying our burdens to Him.Key Topics:The inspiring story of Joseph Scriven, the author of the hymn, and his journey through loss and griefThe importance of prayer as a means of seeking comfort and strengthJesus' example of withdrawing to pray and its relevance to our spiritual practicesUnderstanding the privilege of coming into God's presence and bearing our burdensThe danger of distractions and the need for intentional fellowship with GodThe biblical encouragement to pray fervently, modeled by Jesus in GethsemaneHow only God can truly satisfy our spiritual emptiness and anxietyPractical insights on developing a consistent prayer life and trusting God's readiness to listenResources & Links:"What a Friend We Have in Jesus" - Hymn LyricsBible Gateway - Luke 5:16Philippians 2:7 - Jesus' HumilityLuke 22:44 - Jesus Praying in Gethsemane
This episode reflects on the story of Job and the difference between knowing about God and knowing Him personally.Job was upright, disciplined, and faithful, but his suffering revealed a deeper invitation. Beneath the loss was not punishment, but pursuit. God was drawing Job beyond religion and into relationship. We explore the uncomfortable truth that sometimes God allows stripping of comfort, security, identity, or dependence — not to harm us, but to protect us. In the book of Job, the world is described as deeply broken and hostile. So, what feels like loss may actually be mercy: God removing what would ultimately destroy us so that we learn to rest in Him alone. This episode is a conversation about surrender, dependence, and the kind of intimacy with God that can only be formed when everything else falls away. What remains when the world is taken from you?Sometimes, the answer is the relationship God wanted all along.

"I am not a pastor, I am not a theologian... at this point, I’m just a woman that God wants to give through."In this debut episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on the messy, beautiful process of saying "yes" to a divine calling. For a long time, I felt a heavy pull toward this podcast—a pull I tried to run away from because I didn't feel qualified or "ready" to speak.Through dreams, prayers, and a few "Jonah moments," I realized that God wasn't looking for a title; He was looking for a vessel. Today, I'm sharing the heart behind the renewed name of this podcast ("What I Have, I Give") and why I’ve stopped waiting for perfection to start sharing. In this episode, we discuss:The Struggle: Why we often resist the very path God has laid out for us.The Book of Acts & Life Purpose: How studying the early church reveals that our primary purpose is simply to bring people to God using the gifts He has already given us.'Silver and Gold': Peter’s encounter at the gate called, Beautiful, and what it means to offer what you do have rather than focusing on what you lack.An Open Door: Why your lived experiences—the things you have overcome—are the exact tools needed to reach the people you were appointed to serve.I don’t have silver or gold to give you, and I haven't read the Bible from cover to cover yet. But what I have, I give to you.
Just Listen - God.

Just Listen - God.

2021-09-1410:39

On this episode, we are discussing how God feels when we only go to Him with our problems and not for His fellowship. I believe God wants to speak to us and converse with us every time we talk to Him. He wants a genuine relationship that’s not one-sided but sometimes we act as if our relationship with God is one-directional. Listen to this episode to hear how I compare conversations with a loved one that is going nowhere because they are not listening to the conversations we sometimes have with God. Dive in.
Are you discouraged?

Are you discouraged?

2021-09-0808:49

I realized that discouragement comes from a place of dwelling in the past or worrying about the future… I believe in every season of our lives, God wants us to know that we are exactly where HE wants us to be, but when we focus only the things we want and place we wished we were, we will hurt ourselves and become disappointed. In this episode, I speak about how discouragement has influenced my absence from this podcast and other areas in my life. Yet, by the grace of God and the encouragement I received from The Word, I am encouraged enough today to share this show and my experience with you to hopefully encourage you and make you understand that you are EXACTLY where God wants you to be. Love & Light.
