Description
Two ex-poms in New Zealand do their best to speak for under 45 minutes and only about what’s on their little bits of paper... and likely fail! We discuss movies, life, a ‘brew review’ and whatever else comes up!

Run time is kept reasonable by the fact no trekking poles were discussed. That and the fact we skirt around some fantastic watching recommendations which brilliantly tackle issues we have no business talking about...
This week we catch up on some 2 player board games, a tea, and our music doco of the week 'Little Richard - The Kind and Queen of Rock n Roll'.
The podcast about life, tea, and entertainment! We're back after a short hiiiiiiiiiiiiatus, with a few slight changes - nothing major. This week we discuss the King Crimson doco. We're going to focus on music docos for a while, so if you have any recommendations for things you'd like us to discuss, please let us know!
This week Brew is back on board as we catch up on what we’ve missed, a bunch of Toffee Time updates, the usual random chaos and some entertainment chat.
James understandably needed another wee cough, what with a 3 week old baby at home! Ana stepped in to record a short pod to keep things on track as best we can without our Brew! back to our regular programming soon as is readable :)
We had a wee cough as Mavis Rose Brewer was born last week, but it's great to be back to discuss the new arrival, have a cuppa, and talk on a random smattering of entertainment.
Sugary got a new mixer for his birthday! Hopefully sound quality is a bit better, but it allows us to have call in guests too - which we put to the test bringing Jen Wardly-Wardleback back for an addendum, post episode 3 review of HBO's The Last of Us. We also have general catchup and shenanigans', a review of 'The Banshees of Inisherin' and a tea review.
We're getting close to Brew's new arrival, so if we can't have a full show in/for the next few weeks we'll put the new desk to good use and have some sanity-checks and birthing stories in its stead.
This week we're joined by Jen to talk about HBO's 'The Last of Us', as well as catching up on a whole bunch of medical minutes, a mystery tea tasting, and the usual 'Get Rec's.
Join us next week as we discuss 'The Banshees of Inisherin'.
This week's short yet chaotic pod includes a review of Yorkshire Tea's Malty Biscuit Brew (thanks to listener Doggy Laybys!) and a review of 'The Menu'. Listen out for the spoiler warning, spoilers end at 34:45 if you want to skip.
See you next week when we'll be joined by Jen to discuss HBO's 'The Last of Us' adaptation!
This week we ramble on about AI Art, sup a Clipper 12 days of Xmas tea, and review 'My Old School' - plus a smattering of Get Rec's and random annecdotes!
Next week, 'The Menu' is on the menu, see you then!
Aaaand we're back - Happy New Year! Feels longer than a week off! In this ep we catch up on festive goings on, nut milk updates and multiple 'Get Rec's.
This week we unravel some interesting Spotify pod stats & discuss Apple+'s Shantaram. Join us next week for the last show of the year - we'll discuss Stephen Spielberg's 'The Fabelmans'.
SugarBrew, sweet and fun
Join us for a lively show
Sips of tea, stories told
Funny stories, we share
Laughter fills the air, we grin
SugarBrew, always fair.
The above intro was written by AI, which we put to the test in this weeks episode... we also discuss life, tea and entertainment; Netflix's 1899 spoilers, and some 'Get Recc's.
An old friend gets in touch, tea is tasted, telly watched, and a ruddy good chinwag! No pod next week as James is off to show his knees by a cricket pitch in Christchurch and hoping not to get arrested - see you the week after for more SugaryBrewness.
We had a wee cough, and now back refreshed and in high spirits! This episode is jam-packed with 'Life, Tea and Entertainment', though which part is which of which is down to interpretation!
Believe it or not the topic of the day ends up being the new reissue of The Beatles 'Revolver'. We also catch up on some Toffee time, a go-to gumboot brew and a mish mash of entertainment. We won't be here next week but join us the week after as we discuss 'See How They Run'.
Between random anecdotes, we brave a tea we're unlikely to enjoy, and discuss the 'hot new thing' Jaws (1975).
In which we discuss everything from booker prize nominated books to Poetry, Tea, and The IT Crowd, as well as jump several sharks! (More of which next week, as we talk on 'Jaws')
This week we fail to succeed, catch up on Zoe's PAL's, review a bubble tea, and fly through 2 weeks worth of get rec'd's!
This week we catch some Toffee Time at the beach, talk tea and discuss the new Star Wars series 'Andor' and 'How to with John Wilson'.
