I'm joined by my guest Paul, a Turbografx owner during the early 90s, and together we discuss some of the details that made this system very special as well as its tumultuous lifespan in the US. We cover the origins of the system, go over its variations including the Turboexpress and Turbo Duo, and speak about the recent revitalization in the brand. From the virtual console on the Wii to the recent Turbografx mini, we explore how these efforts have brought the system and its games back into the limelight. In this first-ever episode of the RetroNostalgia podcast, we discuss the impact that 80s cartoons had on the youth of the 80s.  The intro was re-recorded after the fact as there were some issues with the original audio.
