Grant & Pete Talk About Cartoons

The boys are back!!  And what better way to welcome back GPC than a conversation about Bazooka Joe?  The lads catch up on cartoons, then dive into a discussion about Toucan Sam, Tony the Tiger & Chef Wendell!  If you wanna hear some cereal mascot hot takes you have simply GOT to listen!

The boys are joined by musician Nelward to discuss "Batman the Animated Series."  The conversation touches on South Park hot takes, Joel Schumacher's Batman movies, The Far Side, and the origin of Nelward's character "Scott."  This was quite a conversation folks!! You can't miss this one!

The boys are joined yet again by their buddy Eddy Edderson to discuss a favorite - Rocko's Modern Life.  They also talk about Eddy's feud with Ronald McDonald, Schoolhouse Rock, cartoon references in rap music, Muppet Babies, Joe Murray's early animation, Marvin the Martian, and many other weird tangents.  This is a fun one folks!!

The boys bring on their friend & artist Casey Doran to talk about a cartoon they all love - King of the Hill!  The break down interesting characters, discuss some what ifs, & imagine Hank asking for a CD player at a wake.  There's also a bonus discussion about Looney Tunes Back in Action, and a healthy amount of Timothy Dalton impressions.  It was a good time.  You can find more of Casey's work at thesunisflat.org

Grant & Pete talk about Larry & Steve, an early Seth MacFarlane cartoon with some striking similarities to Family Guy.  The boys also speculate what a Little Caesar's movie would look like, as well as chat about Jim Carrey's Dr Robotnik & raunchy Disney memes. Also mentioned: A hearty discussion about Spy vs. Spy.
