The Savant Boys are back to give you all the Year End Wrap Up! A lot of storylines to cover, from Stephen King and horror films dominating the box office this year to Marvel downfall with fans. We've lost many stars this year and we want to give our prayers and thoughts to the family, friends, and fans they've impacted with their work in cinema. We cap off the episode with our Top 5 films of the year. Which movies made your top 5?

This week we get to what the world has been waiting for, Stranger Things Season 5 release. A lot of fan theories have been circulating the internet, Shawn and Tommy answer some of those theories. Was part 1 a letdown or did it meet expectations? Episode 6 of IT: Welcome to Derry gets a review and Tommy can't help but compare to Stranger Things on what HBO got right with its series and where Netflix falls short on Stranger Things.

This week Tommy and Shawn go over plans for Thanksgiving and holiday shopping. We have a discussion on the latest update on Grand Theft Auto 7, job verification to play the game (7:21). We do a deep dive on the latest episode of IT: Welcome to Derry and what we can look forward to moving forward (18:58). We review The Running Man, starring Glen Powell, and how it connects to the IT Universe (35:43). This week on Cinematic Savants we're discussing the vague announcement of Damon Idris becoming the next Black Panther making his appearance at the Vogue Fashion Show. DC won the box office over Marvel, but what does the future look like for both studios moving forward? Tommy and Shawn recap the latest episode of IT: Welcome to Derry and how it connects to The Shining in the Stephen King universe. We breakdown the rumors of Millie Bobby Brown filing a complaint against David Harbour for bullying on the set of Stranger Things season 5. We have an in-depth conversation on what it means to us to be pigeonholed into a role, like Millie Bobby Brown, and how it has stalled her career. Tommy reviews the Netflix documentary The Perfect Neighbor, which is very heartbreaking to watch and Squid Games season 3.

This week on Cinematic Savants we're giving a review of episode 1 of IT: Welcome to Derry, the prequel to the IT horror franchise on HBO Max as well as a review for the sequel to I Know What You Did Last Summer, newly released on Netflix.

The Cinematic Savants are back in full form with the return of Mr. Winters this week. He and Tommy talk it out on his review for One Battle After Another (5:08). Ryan gives us a hidden gem called Fix, newly released on Netflix starring Adam DeVine and Idris Elba (28:42) and Marvel Zombies on Disney+ (30:12). Ryan gives us a recommendation to watch the film Eddington starring Joaquin Phoenix and Pedro Pascal (34:15). Shawn gives us his review of Monster: The Ed Gein Story on Netflix (35:53). Tommy and Shawn convince Ryan that he has to see The Black Phone 2 (1:05:23). Tommy has a new segment he's starting this week called "Rate It" which we give our opinions if the list of Horror franchises, Directors, and Films are overrated or underrated (1:25:09). The Savant Boys are back.......almost. After recovering for 2 months, Shawn has returned with a lot to review this week. First review is The Conjuring: Last Rites (10:32), The Long Walk (26:18), One Battle After Another (49:35), Monster: The Ed Gein Story on Netflix (1:20:24), and Alien: Earth (1:22:54).

After a long hiatus, Tommy returns to Cinematic Savants on a solo mission. With his co-hosts out for this episode it's on him to bring the entertainment and education for the week. He gives on Tulsa King episode 1 season 3 on Paramount+, Gen V season 2, and Peacemaker season 2. He gives his thoughts on The Conjuring: Last Rites, Highest 2 Lowest, and The Long Walk. To cap things off Tommy breaks down the situation with Jimmy Kimmel addressing the Charlie Kirk assassination and his thoughts on Jordan Peele tanking the potential success of the newly release Him, starring Marlon Wayans.

This week on Cinematic Savants Ryan and Tommy review the reboot of Naked Gun, starring Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson (12:19). Ryan chimes in on our conversation from the previous episode about comedy movies not being pushed as much as other genres (16:18). Movies we wished we could've seen in theaters (26:55). The Pickup, starring Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson left us underwhelmed (50:51). Shawn reviews Any Given Saturday on Netflix (1:07:25). We all get to our reviews for Weapons, some of us consider this one of the top movies of the year (1:11:00).

This week on Cinematic Savants Shawn and Tommy reminisce on how the theater experience has changed from when they were young (3:19). Shawn and Tommy had the chance to start Season 2 of Twisted Metal on Peacock, starring Anthony Mackie (21:20). Why is it harder for R-Rated video games to proper once moved to film as opposed to kid friendly games (31:57)? Shawn reviews a documentary on Hulu for the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina (46:10). Tommy reviews one of the worst movies he's ever seen, War of the Worlds on Amazon Prime, starring Ice Cube (1:10:55). What happened to the comedy movie genre (1:23:25)?

We start off the episode by giving flowers to Hulk Hogan, who passed away this week at 71. Even with his controversies over the past few years, the wrestling legend has made a great impact on our lives growing up (6:28). We get briefing sidetracked with the couple at the Coldplay concert (28:05). We all give our Fantastic Four: First Steps reviews (33:05). Tommy gives his thoughts on what wrong with the MCU storylines since Avengers: Endgame (1:13:12). We all give our thoughts on the conspiracy theories of "Woke" agendas in cinema (1:39:15). We give our final thoughts on Happy Gilmore 2, which releases this week on Netflix and Fantastic Four: First Steps. This is a huge release for Marvel so can they finally get the First Family of Marvel right? Tommy tests Shawn and Ryan with Guess the Movie Trivia.
