Muhammad Ayyub – English Translation – Muhsin Khan – Mikaal Waters

Muhammad Ayyub also spelled Mohammad Ayyub or Muhammed Ayyub was a distinguished Quran reciter from Saudi Arabia.

Born in Mecca Saudi Arabia in 1952 he was known for his distinct clear and tranquil recitation style that deeply resonated with listeners. He completed the memorization of the Quran at a young age and later studied at the Islamic University of Madinah where he specialized in Quranic sciences and Tafsir (exegesis). Sheikh Muhammad Ayyub served as an Imam and prayer leader at various mosques, most notably as an Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid an-Nabawi) in Madinah for several years, a prestigious position that greatly increased his renown. He was also involved in teaching Quranic sciences. He passed away in 2016 leaving a significant legacy in the world of Quranic recitation.
