Today we cover some controversies in team selections in England and abroad. Rory makes a big announcement. We also get into developments in Norway and the recent Nations Championships in South Africa!
EMERGENCY EPISODE BEFORE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!!! With riders around the world heading to France for what is possibly the most high quality competition on the calendar, we have created a new episode! Royal Berkshire team rider Rory Capel and the Champions League head referee Megan Marr agreed to come on the podcast for a pre competition chat. Take a listen for the inside scoop :)
Back with sporadic episodes throughout the year, we met with Eddie Surman to discuss the UKs top open teams and their potential rider changes! We enjoy doing these podcasts and plan to involve more international content this year as opposed to focusing on the UK season alone. If anyone has anything they want to chat about give us a shout! Kyle's living in London now and Tom has jumped ship to join Leicester Forrest East - so we still have boots on the ground and hope to see you all at a few competitions this year. Huge congratulations to Leicester Yellow on the win, and Berkshire White for the cracker performance!
A cracker conversation with the inventor of the Litter Scoop. Eddie Surman is a top open rider (famously related to his sister Janey), partner of XZONY and longstanding supporter of the podcast which he enjoys from the comfort of his tractor.  We have a bit of fun with this conversation and even manage to talk a little bit about ponies, recovery from injury, farm life, controversial arena sizes, and the return of Leicester Forrest East to competition this weekend at the STRUK Spring Show. Always a fun chat with Eddie, hope you enjoy!
After a controversial chat over a few beers at the STRUK Knights Pairs with Dan Saunders I've managed to get him on the podcast! Dan is a veteran of the sport and is still absolutely killing it. You'll often find Dan in the ring fighting for A finals, riding for the new team Yorkshire, or training up and coming riders. In this episode we learn a bit about Dan, and discuss the formation of Joe Garnetts new team Yorkshire, the STRUK League Starter, Knights Pairs and give predictions for this weekends Spring Show. Safe travels, see you at Dallas Burston Polo Club later today! To support the podcast, please follow and share!
PUBLIC DISCLAIMER: Some of the predictions and banter made by my friend Tomas Forsythe in this episode have aged extremely poorly, haha. We had a grand idea to record the episode on our drive to Wales for the first competition of the season. We reached out on the socials for questions and topics to discuss. We got things like "Knockout Individuals predictions?", "All Weather League predictions?", "What sports do you do outside of games?", "Why Wes Jones wasn't trainer of the year", "New teams and rider transfers?", " Rules we don't agree with?", etc. Was good to get the ball rolling with another podcast, look forward to bringing you a new episode before Knights pairs on the 26/27 March. Please follow, like and share if you enjoy our content. It's the best way to support what we do :) Much love
And we're back!!  Kyle and Tom are joined by CEO of STRUK Events, Rory Capel, to run through the 2022 calendar. We also go down a few rabbit holes, find ourselves discussing the Xzony Ball, developments with new teams, the EGUK drama we saw on Facebook, the creation of the PGP F*ck-up Chart, and even get a sneak peek at the STRUK 2022 Rulebook. Please follow, like and share if you enjoy our content, its the best way to support what we do! We are stoked to be back! We have missed you all and hope to see you very soon!
Welcome back to the podcast, we need your help!... 📢📢📢📢📢📢📢 In this episode we discuss the podcasts plans for the coming months and we hope to get some feedback from you! Oh, and if you have any crazy/ funny /important stories for us to discuss we would love to have a quick chat with you! 🔥🧡 Get in touch or leave a comment on our socials and we will drop you a message to arrange a call!
Introducing this week's guest, Leah Robertson We are always trying to think of people to give interesting, new perspectives on our sport... Leah covers a special part in the huge world that is social media and produces valuable Mounted Games content. The platform she has created for herself has made her an ambassador for the sport and an idol to many young riders around the world! I had never met Leah until this episode (apart from friendly hellos in passing) and truly enjoyed my time chatting with her This was recorded a good few weeks ago, a lost laptop has set us back a bit Should be back in the swing of things soon! Hope you enjoy
After receiving a message from Andrea the night before World Individuals asking to borrow an air bed, I took the opportunity to offer an air bed in exchange for his time on the podcast!  He mentioned being keen to discuss his concerns with the Italian selection process, and the dangers facing the athletes and ponies due to the Italian rule book allowing shorter distances between poles and from the safety area along the back fence. And who better than top Italian rider Andrea Farinetti to give us an insight into how Mounted Games works in Italia!? Here it is..
PGP Hosts Kyle, Tomas, and Rory get together after a mix of holidaying, isolating and riding/commentating to catch up on the World Team Championships. A quick one this week, enjoy!
Today Tom and I are joined by Dr. Meg The Vet and Lily Solomon to pick at the mind of successful trainer Bella Capel. We discuss different aspects of training, riding, selections, World Team Champs, Champions League, and all the politics in between. Always a good chat with Bella! Enjoy!

On our last podcast with Widu before European Championships, he said he will see us next time with the gold around his neck... And here he is ladies and gentlemen... We get an interesting run-through of the competition and discuss things like the controversial reffing, the starts, the sessions, and everything in between!  Looking forward to the video tutorials/ coaching Widu has been working on... Appreciate the dedication to the sport and think everyone could benefit from the content being created.
We catch up with Swiss rider Marino after his first session in the European Individuals. Listen in for a rider's perspective of the competition so far! I'm posting this as he is out on the second race in the A final. A safe start to the final so far! Good luck brother!
Today we were fortunate enough to have Widu Moorman join us for an analysis of the European Championships taking place over the coming days.  A unique twist this year with just 7 teams entered due to coronavirus and Brexit should make for an interesting "5 day, 6 part final" with every point to fight for from day 1. Italy or France might be the favourites this year but we eagerly await Colin Carsons Bookies View to make the final call. Safe travels to all our listeners heading to Europeans in Denmark, I hope you enjoy this episode, best of luck at the competition!
Today we are joined by Bella Capel's favourite (and self-proclaimed "better looking") child, Jack Capel. Join us as we pick the mind of the 3rd fastest sock vaulter to date, and share some fun stories. This one is probably in need of parental guidance, for the younger listeners... Maybe give this one a skip.
Kyle catches up with successful trainer and owner of the controversial "Bookies View" Facebook page. Colin has played a huge role in growing the sport around the world and is a wealth of knowledge. Enjoy!
After calling out Greg James and his "slow" pony in the Facebook comments section.... Kyle managed to get Greg to come on the podcast. We chat a bit about Gregs games career and get to learn a bit about who he is. We even get a cheeky appearance from Rory Capel. So if you want to listen in on the chat you're in the right place ;)  All the love to our listeners <3
