This was quite an exhausting week, with lots of busy stuff going on at work and privately. Routine visits to doctors are quite... well... routine. But they do pose a bit of stress anyhow. So, here I am in need of some chillout time, and I hope you are up to join me. Especially, if you also had a stressful Halloween today, with all the kids in awkward dresses all over the place. Luckily, I can simply put on my headphones and relax by listening to great music from Weldroid (Biomes), XaVioN (Between Heartbeats), C37 (Think for a Moment), Waterside Echoes (Soft Hurricane), Ndorfik (Saimaa), TOKEE (Путешествие Remixes), Johan Agebjoern (Southern Forest), Monster Taxi (Japanese Onsen), Tony Sieber (Somewhere Lofi), LaMar "Kronick" Mitchell (Soul Of the Machine), Erothyme & EarthCry (Nyquist Twist), Breviar (Sharks), Markus Reuter and Stefano Castagna (Sky on the Ground), Network 23 (Mirages)

So, this was a timely surprise this week, when Klaus from Schallwende e.V. announced that the annual club CD is ready for shipment. Why am I excited? Because I, or rather Talking to Ghosts, made it onto that compilation once again. And it is always great to find your work appreciated, ain't it? Hence, I remodelled this edition of syndae last minute to let you know about this cool compilation and some of the exciting tracks. Well, including mine, but that's shameless self promotion. Sorry, guys. And, of course, there is more new stuff to present, so I compiled a sparse collection from the CD for this edition. I hope you will enjoy the show, as it has some really cool and fresh tracks to listen to, given to us by Lunaar, Hajo Liese und Marcel (Cello) Dudé, Talking to Ghosts, GotamaX, Colin Rayment, and Hyrn (Schallplatte 28: The World of Plants), Kellerkind Berlin (Well ... it's Hope), Vortex Elements (Movement), Nonima + Abdicant (Phase Memory), Roberto Sass (Beyond the Belt of Orion).
So, only one week at work after a short vacation, I am good for some quieter and relaxing sounds. Also fitting to a shimmer of hope to be found, at least so it seems. One never knows in this crazy world. Well, I hope you joined in good expectations to this edition, which will take us on a slower road tonight, although not too ambient, as usual. Also, there are quite some music events ahead, E-Live tomorrow, if you are lucky to make it, but also another cool event in the Netherlands with Deserted Island's label night. And another one in Great Britain, with Awakenings. And one more in Germany, with Spheric Audio Vision. Well, best to listen in with cool sounds by Däcker & Skoulaman (Saudade), Peter Mergener (Chip Meditation 2025), Chris Meyer’s Alias Zone (Soul Of the Machine), Byron Metcalf feat. Erik Wøllo (Spiral Exchange), blisshome (Picture Music), Micado (Gemstones VI), Roberto Sass (Beyond the Belt of Orion), Larkenlyre (While We Were There), Hyrn (The green Mile)

So, I was on a vacation spot the other day with my new laptop, which I especially bought for audio processing, when I found that playback in my application did not work anymore. Of course, it was short before Friday, which also got to be a bank holiday, so no chance of new equipment to be delivered. Nice. If only I had known that only one tiny audio cable was missing for everything to work as planned. Found out only yesterday, after new equipment finally was delivered earlier this week to finish up the show for tonight. So here we are, and we take this very easy in this edition with cool stuff by Dino Pacifici (The Approaching Tempest and Other Unrelated Tales), Jim "Kimo" West & Michael Whalen (Two Shores), Sine (Glow), Thomas Lemmer & Andreas Bach (Into the Night), Masako (Dreaming Northern), Brian Fechino (Days End), Mars Lasar (Grand Canyon), James Filkins (North Manitou Trail), Tepon (Silva & Sol), Don Latarski (Everywhen), David Bach (The David Bach Collection), Earthshine (Island), Cosmic Soup Kitchen (Soul Of the Machine).

A slight sign of relieve on the horizon seeing a comedian I like being un-cancelled. At least for now. It's definitely no good sign for a nations health, when art gets cancelled out. May it be TV shows, books, paintings, or music. So, we should all be happy to live in a time and place, where we have personal freedom. And I hope, you will find some freedom in listening to this podcast as well. Ok, well, maybe too much of politics at this point. It just felt like I had to write it down. For the remaining part, and the show itself, we will definitely stick to fantastic and fresh music served by Peter Mergener (Chip Meditation 2025), Geoglyph (Otherworldly), Bluetech ft. Lisa Bella Donna (Spacehop Chronicles Vol. 2), Paul Ellis (Here is Where), Ivan Black (Book List Continued), Pabellón Sintético (Machine for living), Rodrigo Passannanti (Everything Dies), The Soviet Space Dog Project (Morphogenic Waves).

Oh, boy. These are dark times indeed, looking over the pond. I'm quite sorry for our musical friends overseas, in a country once glorified for its freedom and prosperity. Also for all the people that are living in unsafe spaces these days, where the future is kind of uncertain. So I hope to bring at least a glimmer into everyone's life by having some great electronic music on the show to please one's ears. Have a delightful hour with the music by Menzman & Friends (Insights), Marcator (PanAroma Served Chilled), Greenlab (Beyond Borders), Bluetech (Spacehop Chronicles Vol. 2), Spectral Tune (Painted Waves), Virgo (Novel), Pabellón Sintético (Machine for living), Brainquake + Grosso Gadgetto (Dehumanize the World), Conny Olivetti (Viel Glück beim Überleben (Object Remix)), Dieter Spears, Brian Paris (Speris), IcingWolf (Serpentine)

This week actually started slow and easy, but turned to a turmoil of demands and tasks towards the end. As always is the case. If something becomes urgent, many other issues pile up and burry you with work. So, I am really happy the week came to an end today and the weekend is waiting up with some relaxing electronic circus festival to enjoy and relax. But before I can come to peace, I have to let of some steam. Virtually, of course, and with the right beatful music as companion. Join me, won't you? Let's enjoy the heat of sound with Hyrn (live at Schallwelle 2024), moonbooter (Syncope 2), TNT (The June Solstice 2025), XaVioN (Between Heartbeats), Pudova (Deep Inside), Cognition Delay (Dazzled By The Dark), Noerrf (Tabuguer), El Venado Sound System (Dub Free. Vol. 12), AxelP (NETLABEL DAY 2025), System Error (Beyond), Toxic Derwish + Innocent But Guilty (Making Things Happen: Netlabel Day 10th Anniversary Compilation)

Two interesting events are up soon, teaser for which will also open this edition. One of them in the UK, one in Germany, and both with great music. And if you cannot make it to the one in the UK, the Awakenings, do not hesitate to grab their virtual ticket, which serves one time cool live music from the event. The second is the planetarium show by Stefan Erbe, his kind-of world and space tour with Metamorphosys. But there is more, and all signs are on ambient sounds tonight, more or less one the quiet side. Just what the doctor prescribed my business-busy ears for this weekend. So join in for a great time with music by Axess/Maxxess (Sleep), Stefan Erbe (Metamorphosys), Simon Heartfield (Scenes From Above), Erik Wøllo (Aeris Suite), deepspace (Water Planets), Jim Ottaway (Cosmic Odyssey), Cognition Delay (Dazzled By The Dark), Peltiform (TRIPTYCHS), Christian Fiesel (Full Of Light), TaboTago (Sessions 017: Live in Schwerin)

Do you need some time off? Well, you are in the right place with this edition. In there, you will find no information about politic stunts, nothing on crazy leaders, and definitely no clickbaiting. It would be pure relaxation in a one hour mix, if it wasn't for me throwing in words on the artists and labels involved. Hope you don't mind. In the end, if you like what you hear, you can always go for the music and fetch it for your home theatre and enjoy the whole deal sitting on the sofa. Now, you may do so as well while listening to the show, with excellent chillout music by Greenlab ft. Backstage Gurus (Beyond Borders), Enigmatic Obsession (Secrets of Seduction), Encounters Stars (Veil of Echoes), Eleon (Miles Across Time), Sine (Under the Sky), Thomas Lemmer & Thomas Foster (In the Sky), Tawdry Otter & Captive Portal ft. Toryn (Making Things Happen: Netlabel Day 10th Anniversary Compilation), Xipe Totec Dub (Dub Free. Vol. 12), SOUND2次元 (Imaginary Sequences), Sferix (Moments), Tony Sieber & Thomas Lemmer (Moments Between), David Bach (The David Bach Collection), Claude9 (Chords of Love).

As you may know by now, besides being a great fan of electronic-based music I am also a serials junkie. Recently, I watched quite a number of Anime. Because they are short (about 20 minutes per show) and sometimes really fun. Of course, I am also a fan of Scifi shows. But sometimes, it just does not work out. Being a fan of Star Trek, I tried watching the latest season of Discovery. Currently I am stuck on episode 3, I think, as it is simply too soapy to me. Then I started with Strange New Worlds, and I am hooked again. What a difference in style and making. Well, I am living to early in history to go for some star travel, at least in person. But there is always a great aural trip around the corner, like with the music you get tonight by DASK Music (Rosetta), DTime (Shadows of Time), Eleon (The Darkside of Far), Progeny-1 and Cosmic Cadence (Mystical Cities), Paul Ellis (Here is Where), Cousin Silas & Maximum Movement Theatre (Transmission From an Unknown Source), Ivan Black (Distant Dreams Part 2).

Exciting times ahead with the season of electronic music events in late summer and fall in Germany and the Netherlands. Three of them being featured in this edition showcasing some of the acts. First up being a new one (to me at least) named "Molk-e-tronica" with two days of cool artists. Second the Dutch Electronic Masters series being continued for 2025 with 6 acts on stage. And finally the well known and loved Electronic Circus with some great legends of EM and of course one guest from another world. Join in for some cool hour with music by Gate Eleven (First Contact), o.s.cillator (Dali‘s Dub Machine), Elektronische Maschine (Life goes on), Arjen Schat (Propagations Through Time And Space: Prequel), Marius Nitzbon (Birds are my Friends), Harald Grosskopf (Strom), Stan Dart (Space Race), Proqnostiq and Turius Mansi (Netlabel Day 2025), Mitoma & Abdicant and Brainquake & XOTOX (Making Things Happen: Netlabel Day 10th Anniversary Compilation), Conny Olivetti (Fish do not shout!).

So, recently I mentioned that show, which definitely was sci-fi. Last week I watched another TV show, that started out as kind of film noir, but then surprisingly turned into sci-fi as well. Completely unnecessary in my opinion, as I liked the show up to this twist. A similar experience sometimes occurs with a song. It starts out great as space ambient, but then unexpectedly turns, for example, into some soapy pop, completely throwing me off and makes it vanish from my playlist. Luckily for us, all tracks of this edition "behave well". Some definitely have twists, but well made and for the better. So, please, join me for some ambient greatness by moonbooter (Syncope 2), Jaffe (Depth), Ambient Indigo and Time Away (Mystical Cities), Bernd-Michael Land (Schwer-Metall: Klang aus Erde), Anantakara (Glimpse Of Changes), Cousin Silas & Mr Z (The Cardinal Points: East Part 2), Markus Reuter & Stephan Thelen (Promise of a Better World).

Once a year, the vast amount of netlabels out there join in for a special day: the netlabel day. Same so in 2025, where they put out once again such a massive amount of releases that it is difficult to listen to them all in a week. I tried my best to select some of the cool releases fitting the style of syndae as close as possible. Tonight is the first bunch of songs from that occasion, and there may be more to come. For tonight, enjoy with me the sounds of Tim Koch + Waldgrenze (Making Things Happen: Netlabel Day 10th Anniversary Compilation), BTB (The Strongest Friend in the Universe), Particle of Soul (Particle of soul), Mas&Delayer (Heroes in my bed), Pasquale Maassen vs Peter Mummert (Netlabel Day 2025 Techno Warriors), Pablo Javier Piacente (El Antiguo Dolor De La Selva), Anderdog (Netlabel Day 2025), Soft and Furious (The Flood), Eko_Fisk & Gears in the Rain (Zenapolae 25), C da 76er (Anime Christrumentals), Potenciómetro (Crema), Space Ark Slum Lord (clay makes no protest), Isien (Kanashibari World), Plateau Sigma (The Great Reset).

After yet another busy week, I prefer a bit lighter evening. Especially, before hot and stormy weather reaches us on the weekend. Crazy world. Also crazy is that series I am watching, where people's brains get split to properly seperate work from life. Quite a popular show, it seems, which I only found out about as I watched a video by Charles Cornell, who was amazed by the tv's title theme. And I agree, the intro music is really cool and to the point, very much what I like about cinematic music. Kind of like the title theme for the Westworld series, which got me immediately, when I heard it. Well, we are not in the world of cinematic sounds tonight, but rather one the easy side. But, of course, I have great music for you by Enigmatic Obsession (Secrets of Seduction), Tony Sieber (Because we are), Matt Goodluck (Portals), Ambient Ballroom (Bionic Steam Stream), Lane, Gregorius, Smith (Lost Desert Highway), Roberto Sass ft. Enlia (We're so much more than shadows), Code Indigo (Endgame), Erik Wøllo (Gateway (remaster)), Dino Pacifici (Unfocused Dream Fragments), Marcator (PanAroma Reincarnations), moonbooter (Syncope 1).

Have you heard of this 100 percent AI band that gained momentum the past weeks? I've seen several reports on this artificial artists on Youtube and it's quite astonishing how well their music is received. The Velvet Sundown was created completely from artificial intelligent sources, especially their music and their band photos. And still, people seemed to like it, as the numbers on Spotify and otherwise say. I only heard some excerpts, definitely not my style of music, and it did sound kind of bland. But quite a lot of current popular music does. So it's great to be back on the side of human made electronic and electric sounds and music with tonight's great edition featuring Wildsilences vs Progeny -1 (Wild Moon Remixes), moonbooter (Syncope 1 & 2), Spiralectric (Durchströmungen 4 - Wellenbrecher), Klangwelt (Second Nature), D. Batistatos (Cosmicleaf Mixtape 004 (Psychill)), Holle Mangler (Tales From A Fairyworld (Part 2)), Markus Reuter (TRUCE 3), Maximum Movement Theatre (The June Solstice 2025), Otarion (Time of Nations).

Are you nuts?! Whoever send the heatwave these days must be. But the uncountable number of degrees match with the world's recent politics as well. And that is all over the world. So, was everything better back in the days? Maybe not. But some really good comes from those golden days back last century, and that is the music inspiration, which I most times mention as traditional EM. And from those roots sprung many more cool sounds and sequence explorers. Like the ones you can enjoy with this edition. Take a seat and some good headphones to join me for cool stuff by Peter Mergener (Cinema in My Head - The World of Visible Sound), Altus (Terraform), Fusion of Elements (3MIT-TIME), Eagle (Synth. Music) (The narrow path), Planet of the Arps (Planet of the Arps 2), Hari Maia (Universalis), Ivan Black (The Moonshine Boys).

There is a lot of heat out there. Well, I am not only talking about the weather, which is said to go up to 36 C next week. And I am not build for hot weather, I tell you that. And we do not have some AC around, either. Will be fun, or not. Beside that, the world is going crazier each day, building up another kind of heat. Last week, we had some nice and quiet ambient to get some mind rest. To kind of continue the more relaxing scenery, this week we will go in the chillout direction and enjoy excellent peaceful music by Stefan Erbe (Metamorphosys), AE van Elst Projects (One), Klangwelt (Second Nature), Glint (The Beginning), Erothyme & Kursten Brewer (Tea Sessions), Achillea (Cinema in My Head - The World of Visible Sound), Thomas Lemmer & Lukas Midub (Perspectives), Side Liner & Aviron (Cosmicleaf Mixtape 003 (Psychill)), iRoadie ft. Sunshine and peace is all I need currently. Being quite busy in my head and life being a bit unpredictable, it's those quieter moments that I relish a lot. Calming body and soul for while and let other things be what they are. It would be great if one could simply close one's eyes and the crazy world would go away. Well, it does not. But to me it seems important to find those silent spots in life to not explode and get mad yourself. Here you get an hour of time with ambient sounds, and I hope not to be of too much annoyance in between. Enjoy the music by Carl Lord (Illuminated Expanse), Dashmesh (Teletai), Ambiente Solstice feat. Dashmesh (The World Above The Clouds), Blue Is Nine (Tall Pines), John Scott Shepherd & Jamie Zarfas (Distant Moon), Karl Schoenberg (Spectre), Tim Didymus & Foster Neville (Ulla), Telson (Drums Along The Ambient River Part 1), Cousin Silas (Drums Along The Ambient River Part 2).

Several years ago, I was co-funding a movie. Well, it was a crowdfunded flick with the sole purpose of making a cranzy movie thought out by a crazy mind. Now, if your life would be a movie, what part of the script would you alter? Would it be a great idea to remove some actions or hesitaions of yours that let to unfortunate situations? Or would cutting them make you become a different person? But more important, what soundtrack would accompany your life? There is always music in a modern movie, is there not? It supports the emotional part of the story. So here are some suggestions for the movie of your life. Great stuff by Daniel Blumberg (The Brutalist), Holland Phillips (A Sense of Distance), Tuula Martin (Urban Lullabies), Time Away (Osirian Wave), Der Bischof (Garden of Perdition), Janne Hanhisuanto (Yume), Art Of Infinity (Cinematic Audio 1), Gabríel Ólafs (Polar), Martin Herbst (Mystic Moments), Phaeleh (Fear of Silence), Volker Rapp (Blade Runner 2099).

This was definitely one beat speed week for me, at least at work with so many stuff to do. And all of the tasks were very urgent, of course. It's always at the end of the week or deadlines, when the need to finish up things suddenly appear on ones doorstep. And, thus, the choice of music was between some ultra ambient to cool down and some body moving sounds to power oneself out. For tonight I chose the latter, so join me for a great selection of electronic dance and body music by Decode Blue (Cruise The Groove), Omel & Rising Galaxy (Cosmicleaf. Mixtape 003 (Psychill)), xols (sharp and chispi), db-Maui (this feeling), One Dub Connection & David Laake (Sonic Fractals), Falling Bytes (Civil war), Morgen Wurde, Tis, Tetsuroh Konishi (Erwuchs), granlab/dml (movements).
