Adam Copeland and Christian Cage vs. FTR will open the show Tony speaks about the tailgate brawl and hopes that it will continue for future events Tony addressed the fact that All Out has moved away from Chicago. Tony stated that he is looking to try new things, such as a show around the holidays, but anticipates a return to Chicago at some point. Tony spoke about the return of Eddie Kingston. Tony stated that both Kingston and Big Bill don’t like each other and that Kingston will be at the PPV as it is advertised. Tony says that wrestlers are presented as their true selves when asked about the company potentially leaning more to the left, with Brody King wearing an “Abolish ICE” T-Shirt being an example. In this episode we dive deep starting from July 2nd, 1957 when Bret Sergeant Hart was born and talk his early career, things seem great in the beginning, but as Bret Hart rose to the top of the WWF, someone else had there eyes on his prize and we see the end of a friendship with the biggest star of them all, Hulk Hogan. Listen and here what caused the end of this friendship. As his career in the WWF skyrocketed, so didn't Hart's pay... signed to an unusual deal... Vince McMahon, owner of the WWF suggests Bret looks at WCW. Hart still the WWF Champion, gets a royal screw job in Montreal as we know as The Montreal Screw Job! While signed to WCW, Owen Hart, Bret's brother would pass on May 23rd, 1999. In that same year in December, Goldberg would deliver the, "kick heard around the world." By January 2000, Bret Hart wrestles his last match against Kevin Nash after learning about Post Concussion Syndrome. Towards the end of his career, Bret Hart was dealt some crummy blows that weren't fair to him and a lot he missed out on in his career. On Wednesday, WWE announced that their PLE's will stream exclusivly on ESPN in 2026 in The United States. On August 21st, ESPN is launching a new app called ESPN Direct- To-Consumer. It will feature everything ESPN has to offer from channels and services and WWE PLE's will be streaming on this app. There became a lot of confusion quickly, esp. as it was announced that this new app will cost $29.99 a month. Currently, WWE PLE's are on Peacock app until the end of 2025. Peacock's cheapest version of the app is $7.99. ESPN DTC is three times more then Peacock and fans got upset that they will have to pay such an increase. The $29.99 will only be for NEW ESPN users. We broke down how much a year new users to ESPN will have to pay to watch WWE Raw and PLE's through Netflix and ESPN DTC. We have comments from TKO COO Mark Shapiro, WWE COO Triple H and more. Less than 24 hours after the WWE-ESPN announcement, Peacock announced that it is increases their prices for their app. TKO Owns UFC and WWE. UFC is on ESPN+ for PPV's.
