Hey Cool Weirdos!
With everything that is going on in the news this week with the Oscars, I thought I'd dive a bit deeper into the conversations that have been sparked.
Whenever something big like this occurs, social media goes bonkers and everyday people begin to share their personal opinions on the subject as well as their own perspectives on morality and values.
I've started to notice a pattern. Whenever black women are protected or respected in the public eye, there always seems to be a negative narrative that follows.
Go down the journey with me as I discuss this as well as uncovering what exactly does it mean to be a simp.
In this episode, I'm sharing my opinions on the Will Smith and Chris Rock incident and also dropping some receipts to explain my conclusion that protecting and respecting black women is the new simp behavior.

On this episode, I invite my good friend, DG to join me. We are discussing the highs and lows of the entrepreneurial journey, dating younger people and the fact that men are asking women, "What do you bring to the table."
Don't forget to grab your pen and paper as we are pulling cards from the self-love and self-reflective decks to dive deeper into healing and being our most authentic selves.
Hey Cool Weirdos! We are kicking off season 2 with a conversation about red flags while dating, how some men respond to rejection and how resting can cause guilt within the black community.
There are some reflective questions/journal prompts asked during the show so grab a pen and paper to write about it later.
This episode is about self-accountability and what contributions we can make to bridge the gap between black men and black women. It's a part 2 discussion about Kevin Samuels platform and where my opinions stand now.
