Description

We talk about video games that made our childhood. Join us as we discuss the storylines we played on repeat, strategies we mastered, and critique outfits that were definitely choices. Japanese Role Playing Games (JRPGs), hack and slash, and general story based games are our forte, but we'll deviate quite a bit as we recall what it was like to grow up as gamers in America's heartland.

The internet wants to know.... (or at least we do). Who would win in a fight- Kirby from Kirby and the Forgotten Land or Kratos from the God of War franchise? We go in depth about the protagonists of games we've played.
On this episode Trey finally gets to babble till his heart's content about Nier Automata (Neer: Ah Tah Muh Tuh). The game has a base story, but it's also saying a LOT more when you think about the themes. It gets real deep real fast, and we'll talk about (some) of it.
On this episode we compare the original Animal Crossing to the New Horizons switch update. Its a relaxing life simulator with animal neighbors and a very angry mole.
This week we review Catherine: Full Body, a puzzle-oriented game with a lot of pervy man-children, relationship drama, boobs, and sheep.
Kakegurui- is it brilliant commentary on capitalism and addiction or a fan-service flop? Kacey and Trey debate it out.
We delve into a horror movie classic and see if it translates to the PS4! That, and have a few laughs about our own stupidity when getting lost in the woods.
We venture more into the anime world with Demon Slayer Season Two! Bring on the geishas!
This week we travel down memory lane to give our listeners a taste of the old and remade versions of Pokemon Snap!
This week, we travel through the depths of the underworld with Hades! We learn about Greek mythology and multiple combat systems in this hack-and-slash dungeon crawler.
Today, we venture into the land of dragons with a new technicolor twist on an old school favorite, Spyro! Let's fly, y'all.
This week, we delve into the first person shooter game Bioshock as a part of our Spooktober month! Plenty of Art Deco, vintage scenery, underwater brainwashing, and a surprising amount of bees.
In this one, we rewind the clock about twenty years and look into the fun fantasy world of Jak and Daxter!
We dive into the world of Among Us, where friendships are destroyed and jellybeans are homicidal. This is our first (and belated) episode of our Spooktober month!
Today we talk about Kingdom Hearts II- how we feel about the gameplay, story, replay value, the choices that were made (good and bad) to make this game the success it was. We also include our monthly favorites, what we've both been up to, and what we think about the character designs in this entry in the series.
Kacey takes center stage in this episode because Trey knows nothing about this franchise. We talk timelines, twink Link, and why Breath of the Wild is better than outside because theres no humidity.
On this bonus episode we geek out over how much we loved Demon Slayer: Mugen Train. The animation, the plot, THE EMOTIONS. So good.
In this episode we play Kingdom Hearts I, but in a castle and with math. We talk about about how the plot starts to get complicated, how weebs are naming their kids, and a bit about 90s anime.
On this episode we finish out our 120 hour saga, touch on metacognition, and dig in deep into the symbolism and psience of Persona 5. This ending is a lot, and we have things to say.
We delve into the mysterious world of Persona 5: where the heroes are told to go to bed on time and the bad guys never sleep. Hope you like jazz and cartoonishly evil antagonists!
On this weeks episode we talk about the first installment of the Kingdom Hearts series. The one that started the nonsense! This was one of the main games that got us into RPGs and impacted how we developed. We love the first one have and have opinions about the direction the series has taken.
