We've focussed on high level singles play as our benchmark and made an active effort to split up armies into different tiers (e.g. A & B tier could be in the A tier together, but we've split them up and moved our B tier armies into C tier) representing their relative power to each other rather than a particular WR% band or any other statistical metric. Dave, Vik and a bunch of Team Ignite are attending this year. To mix things up this episode, we thought we'd try to do a slightly unusual tier list. TO CLARIFY BEFORE THE INTERNET IMPLODES, the tier list we've done here is not ranking the strongest armies in the game, so if you've skipped through to the end and are about to shoot us an angry comment, read our method below. This tier list is going to compare the prevalence of factions at the LGT (the LGT Meta) to whether we think the overall player base (not just the top tier, but the entire spectrum of player skills/expectations) of that faction will overperform or underperform (on UKTC terrain). New Zealand absolutely smashed it, pushing into the top 10, winning best sportsmanship and Dave coming out as the Rank No. 1 for individual rankings with his innovative Thousand Sons list. Team England had a worse time, taking some heavy losses across the event pushing them down to 7th place in the rankings.
