(The Sino-Kadazan Couple Podcast Ep 4) Someone from my wife’s office has covid-19! Not only that, she is also listed as a close contact and needed to go for a swab test! So my wife has been going to her workplace for more than 5 months now and because the sales people in her office regularly meet customers outside, there’s a high chance of them contracting the virus and bringing it back. Here is our discussion right after she came back from her day at the office and a swab test. From what happened when she first heard the news, to when she was requested to go to the office, and her swab test. At the end, we even unwrapped some food sent from Sabah: bambangan, ikan bilis (anchovies) and ikan masin (salted fish)
(The Sino-Kadazan Couple Podcast Ep1) In this first episode of a Malaysian couple podcast, where a Malaysian Chinese man interviews his kadazan dusun girlfriend (from Sabah), we discuss about   1. How did I meet my girlfriend 2. How was our relationship like for the first few weeks. 3. How is the health of our relationship like right now   We also share a little tip on how by not being judgmental and not using harsh tone & words can actually help the relationship a lot.  There is also some details about the story that we wish to be record down now, so that in the future we can listen back to them.
(The Sino-Kadazan Couple Podcast Ep3)  Hey guys, I’M MARRIED! If anyone were to tell this would happen 1 year ago, I would tell you that it is absolutely- impossible. But life holds many surprises and I think this one is for the better 😉  In this podcast episode, you will get to see my pre-wedding photos and how I plan and shot them! This episode is great for aspiring wedding photographers or if you want to shoot your own wedding photos as well. Check out the time stamp below for your relevant section,   0:00 Introduction 3:25 The Pre-wedding photos! 16:30 Research and preparation for the photoshoot   If you are wondering some of the free places to shoot in Kuala Lumpur, I went to Lake Gardens (Taman Botanical Perdana), Rainbow Bridge Elmina and Pulau Burung Port Dickson. These places are great but do bear in mind the hot weather can be a real cause discomfort, so do start shooting at first light at 7am to avoid this.
(The Sino-Kadazan Couple Podcast Ep2) Can you date someone who has a different religious belief? Say a Buddhism dating a Christian? In our case, I was raise as a Buddhist while my girlfriend was raise as a Seventh-day Adventist Christian in Sabah, East Malaysia.  At this stage of our relationship, we felt dating someone with a different religion is not a problem. This is because we are both a quite open minded and don’t have strong opinions towards another person’s belief.  We are a couple where one is from West Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur and another is from Sabah, a Dusun- Kadazan. We discuss relationship topics and issues that we are facing ourselves in this podcast for our own documentation. And we thought it is good to share it out as a podcast as well :)  We hope you enjoy listening to this Malaysian Couple Podcast. Let us know in the comments if you do!
