Psalm 33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear him,on those who hope in his steadfast love,In this episode, we will look at the lovely, little word, “hope” — specifically, what it means to hope in His steadfast love. I wasn’t feeling well when I spent time on these thoughts and verses. Though I didn’t feel very hopeful, I still knew I wasn’t without hope. Maybe you can relate?I will share some of the ways my hope was fanned into flame, maybe a flicker. Romans 8:26-27 (NASB)In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.When I looked for an illustration of the word “intercedes” in verse 26, I found this sentence as part of an example (I’ll share the rest in the episode): “Please help her.
