Episode #1130
A 3-hour deep dive into the musical career of the great Jon Dee Graham. Jon Dee cheated death a bunch of times, so it came as a shock that he had left us this week. He was one of the very best songwriters, storytellers, and guitar players who ever lived, and he was also a humble, decent, hilarious man. It was an honour to have him in the studio and in my home in 2014. He leaves behind many grieving family members and friends, but also leaves behind an incredible musical legacy. This is my attempt to sum up his extraordinary career.

Episode #1128
Today we catch up on a backlog of new music and get set for some big shows this week including a benefit show featuring The Fuse, a Times show featuring our old friend Mike Plume, and a show at T & A Garage with Joel Stewart! Joel's music was new to us when he visited with Mike last year, but I knew his name as the mastermind behind some amazing programming that aired on CMT Canada. Joel's IMDB page is a who's who of Canadian music as he's produced or directed specials, shows, and videos for a lot of our favourites. Today, we took a trip to Toronto to visit The Dakota Tavern for a few of the many great Dakota Sessions and we heard clips from a bunch of other great shows that Joel made possible!

An exciting show announcement, new music, tributes, and we jump in the time machine and revisit 1991 in honour of the 35th anniversary of my first date with my amazing wife Nicole! Skipping that concert turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made.
