Does Jesus saying “the Father is greater than I” prove he isn’t God? I respond to this challenge with a biblical case for how Jesus can be fully human and fully God - and why his humility and dependence on the Father don’t cancel his divinity. If you’ve heard the objection that Jesus never explicitly called himself God, or you want biblical passages to consider in conversations about Christian belief, this episode lays out a biblical response and the scriptures behind it.
I discuss my conversation with a Muslim man who believed Jesus did not die on the cross. I explore Old Testament and New Testament lines of evidence. A reflection on responding to challenging questions by studying Scripture and being ready to explain what you believe.

How do you share your faith when you feel unprepared? In this episode, I share my experience and lessons learnt from evangelism. I discuss the fears that once held me back from evangelism, and why we should still share the gospel, nonetheless.
If salvation is by grace, why does the Bible say faith without works is dead? Good works don’t earn salvation; they show that faith is alive. We’re saved by grace through faith in Jesus, not by anything we’ve done. The work of salvation is Christ’s; our response is a changed life. Faith isn’t just something we claim. It shows up in how we live in obedience, love, patience, kindness, and the fruit of the Spirit. Don’t trust your good deeds to make you worthy of heaven. Trust in Jesus’ death and resurrection. Let the transformation that follows be the evidence of your faith, not the price you pay for salvation.
