Join us this week as Meredith explores 1 of our 7 missing States! We are headed to Wyoming for Tarzan of the Tetons, known to his family and friends as Earl Durand. While we are not 100% sure what set Earl off, he spent 9 days of March 1939 on a crime spree. Side tangents include: weird Wyoming laws and Bloodhounds! As for astrology this week, Monday will be a rough one but the rest of the week is looking just fine!
Episode 100 - We made it. This one is full of bullshit and we wouldn't have it any other way! This podcast is powered by Pinecast.
Join us this week as Sarah shares with us 3 criminal doppelgangers! Various side tangents for your enjoyment, plus we struggle to pronounce words correctly... As for astrology, it is full of asteroid transits and some other not so terrible stuff. PS: We should be back on track next week for our very special 100th episode!
Join us this week as Hannah takes us to Denmark! This is the story of the submarine/rocket man Peter Madsen. A Danish “inventrepreneuer” and total psychopath. He was convicted in the brutal slaying and subsequent dismemberment of Swedish journalist Kim Wall aboard his “home made” submarine UC3 Nautilus. Side tangents include bloat and water sniffing cadaver dogs. For astrology this week we get a new moon eclipse in Aries and we enter Taurus season! PS: We should probably fire our editor… 🙂
Join us this week as Meredith shares takes us around the country for a spooky good time at some haunted dive bars. We will visit The Oxford in Snohomish, Washington, Shaker’s Cigar Bar in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Ernestine’s and Hazel’s in Memphis, Tennessee. Not only are these dives haunted, they also share a sorted past on their second floors. Listeners, let us know what your definition of a good (bad) dive bar is and if there are any we should add to our list of places to visit. Astrology this week is fairly productive towards the end of the week, but Tuesday is basically a no go. Tune in to find out more.
We are back listeners! Join us this week as Sarah tells us the story of “The Black Widow” Judy Buenoano. Judy was the first woman to be executed in Florida since 1848 and the first woman to be electrocuted in the US since 1976. Judy was a murderer, an arsonist, a forger, and very experienced with life insurance fraud. There are too many side tangents to list since we have been on hiatus for two weeks. It is a bit of a musical episode, so enjoy! We hope you have missed us as much as we have missed you!
Join us this week as Hannah takes us back to the mid to late 1800s for two stories. First, Albert Hicks, a pirate of sorts. He enjoyed plundering and murder. Second, Anton Probst who was a lazy deserter and lousy farm hand. He enjoyed drinking, brothels, larceny and murder. Thankfully, both men were sent to the gallows. Side tangents include, body talk and tits. Astrology this week looks fairly peaceful, which we all need at this point!
Join us this week as Meredith tells us a “whale” of a tale. This is the story of The Duperrault Family of Green Bay, Wisconsin. They headed down to Florida to charter a boat in order to sail to the Bahamas. What was to be the trip of a lifetime for this family turned tragic in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The biggest side tangent for this episode is cheese… As for astrology, it will be a relatively mild week. We should all take some time to volunteer and because Mercury is entering Pisces, our communications will become quite dreamy.
Join us this week for a doozy of a case. We are headed to Novokunetsk, Russia as Sarah tells us the story of The Siberian Ripper, Alexander Spesivtsev. Sarah does an excellent job pronouncing Russian names, far better than Meredith or Hannah could have done. This one is super gruesome and not just because of the murders or the stew. The pollution levels in this town are off the charts, literally. Bonus tangent about borscht, because why not. As for astrology, this week will be bad and then super fun and flirty. We are wishing our resident Pisces a very Happy Birthday on Monday and Meredith’s big brother a very Happy Birthday on Wednesday.
Join us this Valentine’s Day Chicken Wings Day week for Hannah’s montage: “Love is Dead”. Hannah had originally wanted to do “Prision Love” but instead shares a few stories of spousal murder. Side tangents include oleander poisoning, antifreeze poisoning, and methods for mitigating antifreeze poisoning. To end, Hannah has some very interesting stories about chicken wings. As for astrology, things are about to get dreamy and steamy. Ooh La La! Happy Valentine’s Day listeners, we love you!
Join us this week as we head to Oregon. Hannah shares with us the story of Jerome Henry "Jerry" Brudos otherwise known as “The Lust Killer” or “The Shoe Fetish Slayer”. This is a doozy of a case… In true Capricorn fashion, Hannah will also educate us on fetishes, including some pretty interesting statistics. There are several side tangents of course… and we end the night with some fiery and quirky astrology for the upcoming week. Check it out and let us know what your fetish is… Just make sure “Hannah” is in the subject line. This podcast is powered by Pinecast.
Join us this week as Meredith shares with us the story of Colleen Rice, who was the Mohave County Jane Doe for 52 years. Thanks to efforts by the Sheriff's Office and Othram Inc, Colleen was identified on Monday January 23, 2023. Othram Inc created the website www.dnasolves.com to allow for crowdfunding of open cases. Meredith will also share 3 cases that are still in need of funding. Side tangents include a new career for Meredith and groundhogs. For astrology, the week kind of blows until Sunday. Tune in to find out more! This podcast is powered by Pinecast.
Join us this week for a DNA Trine. Sarah shares with us the stories of Lilian DeCloe (Florida), Anna Kane (Pennsylvania) and Joette Smith (California). These women suffered tragic deaths and the hands of unknown assailants. With little to go on, these cases went cold. Thanks to new DNA technology and genealogy, suspects were identified. While these discoveries brought some form of closure, real justice wasn’t served. Side tangents include STDs and how bed bugs mate. As for astrology, this week looks pretty great! Tune in to find out more.
We’re back! Join us this week as we head “Down Under” to the Belanglo National Forest in New South Wales. Hannah tells us the story of the Backpack Murders and Ivan Milat. While not all who wander are lost… There are people out there hunting for wanderers and let’s just say they do not have good intentions. Especially if the person who finds you belongs to the Milat family. As for astrology this week, we are headed in a more direct, productive, and innovative path as we inch our way into 2023. Be sure to reach out if there is a topic, case, or some weird bullshit you’d like us to cover this year.
Join us this week for our Merry & Bright Christmas Episode. Last year, we gave you a bummer of an episode with a bunch of family annihilations… This year we opted for something a little more bright and cheery. Meredith will be sharing some hilarious Florida Man stories and other bizarre headlines. We also have some Christmas Trivia and a few other side tangents just for fun. Astrology this week is right on point, leading to a well deserved and peaceful Christmas Eve. We love you all and hope your holidays are Merry & Bright. We will be back in 2023 with some more tantalizing stories. We are taking a few weeks off to ring in the New Year! This podcast is powered by Pinecast.
Join us this week as Meredith takes us back to the late 1800s early 1900s for the story of Cordelia “Delia” Botkin. Marriage to other people and a 9 year age difference didn’t stop Delia and her lover John Dunning from having a good time. At least until John decided to get back to reality. Let’s just say that Delia wasn’t a live and let live kind of gal. Side tangents this week include: doctors, sandwiches, and petty shit. As for astrology, it’s looking to be a pleasant and productive week!
Join us this week as we head to Beaumont, Texas for the mysterious death of Greg Fleniken. A Texas “Landman” who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It would take the help of Private Investigator Ken Brennen to bring answers to this bizarre case. Side tangents include, fan mail for Hannah, Sphynx cats, Hannah’s first tattoo and some really awesome events occurring on Friday. For astrology, it is going to be practical, anxious, extra, and then practical again. Tune in to find out more!
Join us this week for an explosive Thanksgiving story. Meredith takes us to Lake Worth, Texas for the case of the Blount Family murders. This average blue-collar family was devastated when 3 members were killed on Thanksgiving Day 1985. Investigators believed they had solved the mystery but misconduct by the prosecutors and investigators would free the man they believed had committed this horrendous crime. Side tagents include: Thanksgiving Trivia, The Lake Worth Goatman, and beavers. As for astrology, we start the Sagittarius season of adventure and optimism. Not much going on over the holiday, other than full hearts and tummies. TCT will be taking next week off, but we will be back Monday December 5th with another tantalizing tale of murder, mayhem, or bullshit… Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
Better late than never… Join us this week as Sarah takes us to Springfield, Massachusetts for the story of Alfred Gaynor. A serial killer, rapist and necrophile, Gaynor’s spree spanned from 1995 - 1998. Sarah spares us more of the horrific details but this is one bad dude. For astrology this week, things are looking up finally! Tune in to find out more!
Join us this week for the fascinating story of a femme fatale. Anna Marie Hahn was a young immigrant from Germany who had a thing for older German men. It didn’t matter that she was married or had a child, she loved a tawdry affair. Especially, when it became lucrative for her after their deaths. As for astrology, it is going to be a really rough week. However, knowing how the planets align will help you to better navigate the week. We are also sending a special celebratory shout out to TT & Tio on their upcoming nuptials this Friday! This podcast is powered by Pinecast.
