Our series continues by examining one of the secondary characters in the book of Acts named Barnabas, which means son of encouragement. And as we see Barnabas show up at varying points in the book, we'll find some new ways to consider what connecting to missions can look like, even if we aren't all called to be on the front lines.
Acts 4-15
Andy Kvernen
Our sermon this week will focus on two biblical texts. The first, Psalm 67, sets up the entire series. The second, 3 John 5–8, teaches us one aspect of what it means to participate in God’s plan to reach the nations.

Genesis 24:1-25:18
Andy Kvernen
Do you find that after you experience a spiritual victory in your walk with Christ it can be easy to let down your guard and be derailed by one of life’s challenges? We continue to follow Abraham after passing his great test with Isaac. As he moves into his later years, we’ll find him facing several other challenges, similar to the ones we face. May God use this often-overlooked passage in Genesis to encourage us as we face these challenges.
Genesis 22:20-23:20
Bruce Naugle, Cornerstone Elder
We'll see Abraham's faith get tested like it's never been tested before! What's the test? How will Abraham respond? And what does it all mean for us?
Genesis 22:1-19
Andy Kvernen
We meet back up with Abraham & Sarah as they travel to Gerar. After all they've gone through and experienced up to this point, will things get less messy?
Genesis 20
Pastor Matt Korth
Our hero Abraham witnesses the extent to which Sodom and Gomorrah have fallen, and his response is inspiring. On the flipside, we’ll be reintroduced to Abraham’s nephew Lot, now a resident of Sodom, who fails at every faith juncture, yet still becomes a beneficiary of God’s incredible grace.
Genesis 18:16-19:38
Pastor Nate Carter
We encounter yet another messy stretch in the story of Abraham and Sarah. Ever feel just a bit desperate as you wait on God for the fulfillment of his promises in your life? Sarai and Abram did, and it got them into trouble. But, praise God, he didn't give up on them. And he won't on you either.
Genesis 15-16
Andy Kvernen
In Genesis 15–16 we encounter yet another messy stretch in the story of Abraham and Sarah. Ever feel just a bit desperate as you wait on God for the fulfillment of his promises in your life? Sarai and Abram did, and it got them into trouble. But, praise God, he didn't give up on them. And he won't on you either.
Genesis 15:1-16:16
Pastor Andy Kvernen
We observe Abram going back up to the land of promise and renewing his commitment to walk in faith, even in spite of the movement in the opposite direction of his nephew, Lot. Think God's plan for you is done when you make a mistake? It's not, but God asks you to respond in faith. Abram demonstrates how. The message is entitled "We CAN Go Back Again!"
Genesis 13-14
Andy Kvernen
We launch into a new series for the summer called "Messy Faith." Do you believe in Jesus, but sometimes feel frustrated with how non-linear your walk with him can be? Ever feel like your faith journey is just a little bit messy (maybe alot!)? Be encouraged. That was the experience of a guy named Abraham. And God used him to change the world!Genesis 11:27–12:20
Andy Kvernen
This week we enter the New Year and we do so by focusing on the Lord’s Table.
1 Corinthians 5:6-8
Bruce Naugle, Cornerstone Elder
David gives (perhaps, for most of us), an unpopular & unwelcome charge. What is it? And why should we follow through on it?
Psalm 27
Pastor Matt Korth
1 Corinthians 4:14-17
Scott Wilson
In the aftermath of the resurrection, the disciples don't yet realize what actually occurred. They're still bewildered and confused. That is, until Jesus shows up.

Luke 24:13-35
Andy Kvernen
2 Peter 3:8-13

Jesus has been busy at work discipling those around him, and now comes the time for a significant object lesson as he prepares to send out 72 people on a Short-Term Mission Trip! And what they learn is significantly applicable for us as well.
Luke 10
Andy Kvernen
We'll continue in the same series with another story of waiting, this time with a man named Simeon, the devout man to whom the Lord had promised that he would not die until he saw the Lord Christ.
