I’m a blue collar family man that hunts 150 + days a year. This podcast is a place for me to answer questions, do hunt recaps, rant about funny things that happen to me as a dad or on the job site, and most importantly try to get the info out there to guys who want to hunt as much as the “insta-fluencers” but don’t think it’s attainable as an average, everyday, normal guy.. I’m here to tell you it’s 100% doable through hard work and some lucky/smart decisions. I’ll share things I’ve learned over the years to build this lifestyle I’m blessed with and hopefully a few laughs at my expense.

I’ve been “running” for over 10 years fairly consistently but up till a few weeks ago I never actually considered myself a runner.. BUT I DO NOW! A little predator hunting, a little turkey scouting, and some hot takes on running from a novice!

I WAS supposed to have my far more interesting buddies on to talk guiding stories and the dumb shit clients do… but we’re old and I never prioritize this podcast! So instead you get to hear more of my garbage.. same ol shit.. complaining about being fat even though I’m not interested in taking a full handle on my diet… bitching about whitetail and their incredible matrix abilities… and other shit that I’ve already forgotten… but let’s be honest no one reads these “summaries” anyway!
Your gonna love this one! I discuss all the failures of 25 and then set unrealistic goals for 26.. honestly 25 was my best year yet.. BUT I still fell short of many of my “resolutions.” Always fun going over the game tape and setting new goals… NEW YEAR.. NEW ME! I STILL DOUBT YOU’LL LIKE ME THOUGH😂 !

In this one I philosophize the 2 “types” of hunters out there.. which holds very little weight since I’m a moron.. BUT.. I DID KILL A DOE THIS WEEKEND.. best part of this episode is the short piece where my son tells his first deer story!
This week I was hunting mule deer at home in Nebraska, running 5K’s with my kids and living that “EARN YOUR HUNT” lifestyle all while being filmed for an upcoming film for Argali’s YouTube page. Hunting is a matter of inches there is a small margin between perfect shot and shit show. YOU DON’T LEARN ANYTHING FROM A PERFECT SHOT! drinking game phrase of the week: “it is what it is” try monotone too hammered you’ll never accomplish anything this week!
Talking about the upcoming hunt I’m doing for Argali.. givin some thoughts on their new clothes… recapping my wife’s deer hunt.. and as usual talkin some shit in annoying voices..
Whitetails suck! 😂 little recap of the latest hunt in Oklahoma and Texas with my 2 kids. It was a bit of a struggle, per the usual, but ended AWESOMELY! In the words of the late great Clay Newcomb.. “I really doubt… you’re gonna wanna miss this one…” 😂 he’s not dead.. late great just sounds good.. ENJOY!
I get to “adventure” hunt all over the place.. But honestly nothing beats hunting back home with the family! If your a cynical hunting douche please take a kid hunting (keep your BS to yourself) AND REMEMBER WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT!
