Description
I’m “Grandma Joelee”, and I tell Bible stories for kids and apologetics for kids, each connected to the Gospel for kids in a way they can understand. Parents have told me their children enjoy them, and they use them in the car, when the children go to bed, and sometimes even as part of their homeschooling. Originally made for my small grandson, but now listened to by kids in all 50 states and downloaded in over 150 countries around the world.

This tells things about the attributes of God, who God is and how great He is. It connects to the Gospel. For ages 4 to 12, but adults have enjoyed and learned from my audios as well. I (Joelee Chamberlain) am now 92 years old and have trouble talking carefully for the long period of time it takes to record these. So my daughter Catherine did the recording for me. But there is a short introduction by "Grandma Joelee" so the children will hear my voice for continuity and to not worry about me.

This half hour video teaches children how the Bible is put together. By being familiar with its structure and sections, they can find things in the Bible more easily. It even has a catchy little song to help them remember. Of course, it also includes the Gospel. The PDF has the text, the sheet music for the song, and a copy of the completed chart. For children 4 to 10 years of age, though adults have also enjoyed my audios. (By the way, the man who filmed this and got it ready to put up said it even helped him and his wife!) This was inspired and developed from Walter C. Kaiser, Jr.'s analysis of the structure of the Bible in "Recovering the Unity of the Bible" and also from J. Sidlow Baxter's "The Strategic Grasp of the Bible".
This audio talks about poetry in the Bible. It primarily covers the poetic books of the Bible (Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon) but also mentions other places such as the prophets. First, we discuss what Biblical poetry is (the rhyming of ideas or things) and then there is an overview of each of the 5 poetic books. Connects to the Gospel. For children ages 4-10, though adults have also enjoyed and even learned from my audios as well.

This exciting apologetics for kids tells the story of Elijah and the prophets of Baal. It answers the question, where did they get all the water to soak the offering to the Lord when there had been such a bad, long drought. It presents this question as a "Bible Puzzle". It is one of the "undesigned coincidences" that shows the truthfulness of the Bible. It is taken from J. J. Blunt's book on this topic. Of course, the Gospel is included. For children ages 4-10, though adults have also enjoyed and learned from my audios.
This audio tells what a prophet is. It also tells what a false prophet is. It gives examples from the Bible and the criteria of a prophet from the Old and New Testaments. Tells that Jesus is the greatest prophet and fulfills many prophecies at His first Coming, so we can know that He will fulfill the prophecies that say He is coming again. Of course, it links to the Gospel. It is for ages 4 - 10 years old adults have listened to and enjoyed my audios as well.
In this short audio I tell some things from the Bible about what heaven is like. I tell of the joyful things about being there and how it is our real home. I tell what dying is and talk about the body and spirit. But I do those in a rather matter-of-fact way, not wanting to frighten small children. I also tell of our resurrection and the New Heavens and New Earth, too. I stress the happiness of being with the Lord and our friends and family who are already in heaven. I tell that this is a hope and encouragement (even when we're sad), but we also important work to do now like sharing the Gospel and helping people. The Second Coming is also talked about, but I avoid any controversial subjects such as the timing of the Rapture and the Millennium. That is left up to the parents. Of course I also give the Gospel, as that is the way to get there. For children 4 to 10 years old, though even adults may enjoy it.
This tells about the 7 original Feasts of the Lord as given to Moses plus the 2 man-made feasts in the Bible, Hanukkah (New Testament, Feast of Lights) and Purim (in the book of Esther). This has many of the details of the 7 original Feasts that were told about before in "#B03 - God's Holidays", but this new audio includes more details about the Second Comings from the Fall Feasts, givng a pre-millenial point of view (after Christ returns, He reigns for 1000 years before the Eternal State). ("God's Holidays" told of the Second Coming in a general way and only had the original 7 Feasts of the Lord.) In this audio, Christ's First Coming is presented in detail in the Spring Feasts, and the Second Coming is presented in detail from the Fall Feasts and from the 2 other Feasts, too. It is told for children, ages 4-10, though adults may enjoy it also. Of course, it is connected to the Gospel.
