Description

Mama, are you tired of feeling like you have nothing left to pour out, and yet still feel like you’re somehow not giving enough? Do you wish you could stop rehearsing the same patterns from your family that you swore to yourself you would never repeat?

Are you sick of spending hours worrying about your kids and being constantly bombarded with all of the “what ifs” that take over your mind? Do you wish you didn’t feel like you just had to survive this season and that you could actually enjoy it?

How about waking up excited for the day, feeling confident as a mother, and living out those dreams you abandoned so long ago?

In this podcast, you will find tools, wisdom, and encouragement to help you step into the life you were created for! We will dig into healing from your past by re-aligning your identity with Christ, shining a light on depression and anxiety, and ending the cycles of unhealthy family patterns.

We will work to help you craft a healthy, joy-filled life by creating healthy habits, diving into boundaries, and discussing practicals to being a godly wife and raising our kids with intention. We will equip you to spread hope into the world by discovering your gifts and passions, resurrecting old dreams, and learning how to take the freedom you have found and bring others in on it!

If you’re ready to move from anxiety, depression, and overwhelm, and to step into the abundant wide open life that God is calling you to then I think you have found your spot, Mama.

Hi, I’m Brittany, your guide to navigating this journey of healing. I have spent years as a therapist, leader, and coach, helping people move out of the spaces they have been stuck in. I also have walked through my own journey of healing from decades of depression, anxiety, anger, and a deep belief that I am not good enough.

I am here because God used a miscarriage to show me I had nothing to fear and that it was time to use all that he has healed in me to spread his message of hope into the world.

So mama, grab your coffee and journal so we can unpack what it looks like to live a life you were created for! We are going to get super real, laugh about our quirks, and do the heavy lifting to transform our pain into purpose.

If you’re ready to grab hold of your courage, step out in faith, you will discover that your life can become more than you ever dreamed possible. THIS is Morning, Mama! A place for you to throw off all that has been holding you back and run into true freedom. Let’s go!!

Do you ever feel like your whole life is about giving… and you’re the one left empty? Giving to your kids. Giving to your marriage. Giving to your work. Giving to everyone who needs something from you. Maybe you tell yourself this is what love looks like. Maybe you believe good moms don’t need much. Maybe you feel guilty for wanting more than survival. But somewhere along the way, sacrifice stopped feeling holy… and started feeling heavy. In today’s episode, we talk about sacrifice — not the kind God invites us into, but the kind that quietly turns into resentment, burnout, and loss of self. Not laying down your life in love. But disappearing in the name of being needed. We talk about how unhealthy sacrifice shows up when: • You ignore your limits • You believe your needs don’t matter • You feel selfish for resting • You equate love with suffering • You stay depleted instead of restored This episode will help you: • Discern the difference between godly sacrifice and self-erasure • Understand why constant depletion isn’t spiritual • See how resentment is a signal, not a failure • Learn how to honor your needs without guilt • Begin practicing sacrifice that leads to life instead of loss If you’ve been feeling tired, invisible, or quietly angry — this episode will help you name what’s really happening underneath it. God does call us to lay down our lives. But He never calls us to disappear. And when sacrifice flows from love instead of fear, it leads to freedom — not bitterness. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Sign Up for the Pain to Peace Academy HERE. Do you ever feel like your emotional state rises and falls with how your kids are doing? When they’re happy, you feel okay. When they struggle, you panic. When they mess up, you feel like you failed. Maybe you’re constantly worried about their future. Maybe their behavior feels like a reflection of you. Maybe your peace depends on whether or not they’re okay. In today’s episode, we continue our series on the sneaky things that steal our joy by talking about one of the most tender and dangerous idols for moms: the idol of our kids. Not loving them. Not caring deeply. Not wanting what’s best for them. But placing our identity, security, and worth in how they turn out. We talk about how this shows up when: • You feel responsible for your child’s emotions • You fear their mistakes more than you trust God • You define your success by their behavior • You try to control outcomes instead of steward hearts • You lose yourself in motherhood This episode will help you: • Recognize where fear is driving your parenting • Understand why control feels loving but isn’t • See how making kids the center creates pressure instead of safety • Learn how to release your child back to God • Begin parenting from trust instead of anxiety If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by your child’s choices, behavior, or future — this episode will help you see what’s really happening underneath it. Your child was never meant to be your source of peace. God is. And when you let Him be, both you and your child can breathe again. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Do you ever feel like you can’t slow down… even when you want to? Like there’s always more to do. More to fix. More to manage. More to prove. Maybe rest feels irresponsible. Maybe stopping feels unsafe. Maybe you don’t know who you are if you’re not being productive. In today’s episode, we continue our series on the sneaky things that steal our joy by talking about another deeply praised idol in our culture: the idol of work. Not diligence. Not responsibility. Not doing what God has called you to do. But the kind of work that replaces trust, worth, and dependence on God. We talk about how work becomes an idol when: • Your value comes from how much you get done • You feel guilty when you rest • You carry constant pressure to do more • You use busyness to avoid what you feel • You believe everything depends on you This episode will help you: • Recognize where work has become your source of worth • Understand why striving never brings peace • See how busyness keeps you from God instead of drawing you to Him • Learn the difference between faithfulness and self-reliance • Begin practicing rest as trust, not laziness If you’ve been feeling driven, exhausted, or afraid to slow down — this episode will help you see what’s really underneath it. You were never meant to carry everything. You were meant to walk with God. And that’s where real peace is found. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Do you ever feel like you’re being measured — even when no one is saying anything out loud? Measured by how you look. By how your kids behave. By how put-together your life appears. By what other moms seem to be doing better than you. Maybe you don’t call it “image.” Maybe you call it pressure. Or comparison. Or trying not to fail. Or just wanting to be seen as a good mom. In today’s episode, we continue our series on the sneaky things that steal our joy by talking about another quiet idol in our culture: the idol of image. Not just caring what people think — but letting what people think shape how you live. We talk about how image takes over when: • You feel anxious about how others see your parenting • You hide your struggles instead of asking for help • You compare your life to what you see online • You perform instead of rest • You feel like you have to hold everything together This episode will help you: • Recognize where image is driving your choices • Understand why it leaves you exhausted and insecure • See how comparison is robbing you of peace • Learn how to live from identity instead of performance • Begin trading pressure for freedom and approval for peace If you’ve been feeling tense, unseen, or like you’re never quite enough — this conversation will help you name what’s really going on underneath it. You were never meant to manage an image. You were meant to live from who God says you are. And that’s where freedom begins. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Comfort is something most of us chase without even realizing it. We organize our lives around what feels safe, familiar, and emotionally manageable — but over time, that pursuit of comfort can quietly replace trust in God. In this episode, we talk about: • How comfort becomes an idol • Why discomfort often accompanies spiritual growth • How avoiding hard things keeps us stuck • The difference between God’s peace and personal comfort • What it means to follow God when obedience feels costly If you’ve been feeling stuck in patterns that feel safe but unfulfilling, or if you’ve been resisting change because it feels too hard, this episode will help you reframe discomfort as part of God’s refining work. Sometimes the very thing we’re avoiding is where God is inviting us to grow. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Sign Up for the Pain to Peace Academy HERE. Do you ever find yourself thinking, “I should be farther along by now”? Or wondering why God seems to be answering everyone else’s prayers… but not yours? Comparison is sneaky. It doesn’t always look like jealousy — sometimes it looks like discouragement, frustration, or feeling stuck in the season you’re in. And before we know it, it starts stealing the joy God wants us to have. In today’s episode, I’m kicking off a new series on the sneaky things that steal our joy — and we’re starting with comparison. We’re talking about three lies comparison whispers to us: • I should be farther along by now • Why hasn’t God answered my prayers? • Why am I still here? Your story is not late. Your prayers are not ignored. And your season is not wasted. God is weaving something in your life — even when you can’t see it yet. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Do you love your days? Not just the big picture—but the hours in the middle of your day. The work you do. The way you spend your time with your kids. The rhythm of your life. If your day-to-day feels stagnant, draining, or disconnected from who you are, this episode is for you. In this episode of the Wonder series, we’re talking about calling—not just in terms of career, but in how you live, work, serve, and show up in the season God has you in right now. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Do you ever feel stuck with God? Maybe you hear other people talk about their deep, emotional connection with Him—and you wonder why it feels so hard to access that kind of intimacy. Or maybe you used to feel close to God, but lately your faith feels dry, routine, or distant. In this episode, we continue the Wonder series by talking about how to restore passion, curiosity, and intimacy in your relationship with God—no matter what season you’re in. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? In today’s episode, I’m joined by two incredibly special women, Holly and Lauren, who bravely share their honest experiences inside the Pain to Peace Academy. This conversation is sacred, vulnerable, and deeply hope-filled—and I truly believe it will meet you right where you are. Holly and Lauren come from very different life stages. One is navigating motherhood with grown kids, the other is in the thick of early marriage and parenting a toddler. And yet, you’ll hear just how universal our pain, patterns, and healing journeys really are. If you’ve ever wondered: Is this just another course that won’t actually change anything? Is this relevant for my stage of life? Is it worth the investment? Why do I keep reacting the same way in my marriage or relationships? This episode will answer those questions honestly. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or quietly hopeless, I hope this conversation reminds you that your pain is not the end of the story. Healing is possible. Clarity is possible. And you don’t have to do this alone. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Sign Up for the Pain to Peace Academy HERE. Come say hi and join the Morning Mama Facebook Group! Do you ever feel stuck in a relationship because the other person won’t change? Maybe it’s your husband. Maybe it’s your child. Maybe it’s a family member—or even yourself. In this episode, we continue our Wonder series by talking about what to do when someone else’s behavior feels like the thing standing between you and peace. When you feel powerless, frustrated, or hopeless because change seems out of your control, this conversation is for you. Today, we’re unpacking how labels quietly trap relationships, why they keep us stuck in cycles of pain, and how choosing wonder instead of certainty can open the door to growth—whether the other person changes or not. If you’ve been carrying the weight of trying to fix someone else, this episode will help you lay that burden down—and pick up a new way forward. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? What happens when you say yes to healing—even when life is already overwhelming? In today’s episode, I’m joined by Amber and Krista, two moms who recently graduated from the Pain to Peace Academy, and their stories are nothing short of powerful. Both women joined the Academy during some of the hardest seasons of their lives—not because things were calm or convenient, but because they felt a clear nudge from God. This episode is for the mom who: Feels stuck despite loving Jesus and listening to all the podcasts Knows something needs to change but isn’t sure how Is afraid to invest time, money, or emotional energy into herself Wonders if healing is worth it when life already feels heavy If you’ve ever thought, “This sounds good… but is it really for me?” — this conversation is for you. 💛 You deserve healing. And you don’t have to walk through it alone. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Sign Up for the Pain to Peace Academy HERE. Are you ready for change—but feeling overwhelmed about where to start? You know something needs to shift this year. Maybe it’s your spiritual life, your marriage, your mental health, or simply how you’re showing up day to day. But when you try to decide what to work on first, everything feels equally important… and equally exhausting. In today’s episode, we move beyond inspiration and into practical action. This is the next step in our Wonder series, where we take the declarations you made in previous episodes and finally put hands and feet to them. Because while mindset matters, real transformation happens when faith meets intentional action. In this episode, I walk you through a clear, prayerful, step-by-step process to help you: Identify the one area God is inviting you to focus on right now Stop trying to change everything at once (and burning out) Discern what habits to add, what to drop, and what actually fits your season Invite God into your decision-making instead of relying on pressure or comparison Choose 1–3 realistic next steps that lead to lasting change This is not a “feel good and forget it in two weeks” kind of episode. This is a grab-a-pen, pause-the-podcast, let’s-do-this-together kind of episode. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Sign Up for the Pain to Peace Academy HERE. Are you feeling stuck as you step into the new year? Like you want something different—but you’re not quite sure what that next step is or how to get there? If so, this episode is for you. Today, I’m inviting you into a conversation that is full of hope, honesty, and real-life transformation. In this episode, I sit down with two incredible women—Marissa and Ellen, recent graduates of the Pain to Peace Academy—and they courageously share what God has done in their lives over the last few months. These are not polished, “everything is perfect now” testimonies. These are real stories of obedience, healing, growth, and learning how to live differently when old patterns no longer work. If you’ve been wondering whether the Academy might be for you… If you’ve been feeling a nudge but also fear… If you’re tired of repeating the same cycles and want new fruit this year… I encourage you to lean in and listen. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Do you ever sit down to reflect on the past year or try to dream about the new one… and instead of feeling inspired, you just feel overwhelmed, stuck, or even hopeless? If resolution-setting feels heavy, confusing, or discouraging right now, this episode is for you. Today I want to walk you through a completely different way to prepare for a new year — one rooted in wonder, not pressure. In this episode, I share how God gave me the word “wonder” for this year — and how He wants to invite you into a year marked by hope, curiosity, faith, and expectancy instead of burnout or survival mode. This is not about setting more resolutions or trying harder. It’s about shifting how you see your life. My prayer for you is that this year would not be marked by striving, pressure, or fear — but by wonder. That you would remember who God is, what He’s capable of, and how deeply He cares about every area of your life. You are not stuck. God is not done. And there is so much more ahead than you can see right now. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Sign Up for the Pain to Peace Academy HERE. Do you feel like you’re just getting through the day? Like you’re surviving instead of truly living? Maybe you feel stuck, exhausted, or quietly wondering if things will ever get better. If that’s you, this episode is for you. Today, we’re talking about wonder—and how rediscovering it can bring life, joy, and hope back into places that feel dark or stagnant.  As we move through the Christmas season and toward a new year, I felt God impress this word wonder on my heart. Wonder isn’t just a feeling—it’s a posture. It’s the belief that there is more than what we see right now. That God is still working. That surprises, redemption, and beauty are still possible, even after long seasons of pain. In this episode, I unpack what wonder really is, why it matters so much, and how losing it slowly drains the life out of us. We talk about how a lack of wonder can leave us feeling flat, hopeless, and resigned—like this is “as good as it gets.” But that is not God’s story for your life. I truly believe God wants to restore wonder in your heart—this Christmas season and beyond. You are not forgotten. You are not stuck forever. And even if it feels silent right now, God is still working behind the scenes. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Sign Up for the Pain to Peace Academy HERE. Do you ever find yourself lying awake at night, spiraling through every possible what if? What if something happens to my kids? What if we get a diagnosis? What if our finances fall apart? What if something goes wrong that I can’t control? If this is you, friend—you are so not alone. God put this episode on my heart because the “what ifs” were creeping into my own life, and He opened my eyes to the truth: worry imagines a future without God in it. This episode will ground you, strengthen you, and help you step out of fear and into the peace that Jesus promises. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Do you ever catch yourself saying, “I just don’t feel like it”… and then making your decision based on that? I don’t feel like getting up. I don’t feel like exercising. I don’t feel like cooking. I don’t feel like reading my Bible. I don’t feel like dealing with this right now. If so—same, friend. This episode came straight out of my own conviction. Recently, I heard someone casually explain why they skipped something based on how they felt, and it was like a lightbulb moment. I suddenly realized: that’s me. That’s what I’ve been wrestling with for years—trying to honor how God made my body and emotions without letting my feelings run my life. In today’s conversation, we’re exposing the cultural lie that says, “Just listen to your feelings.” Because yes—God created our feelings, and they matter. But they were never meant to be the leader. They’re meant to be indicator lights, not our steering wheel. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Sign Up for the Pain to Peace Academy HERE. Do you ever find yourself grumbling? Feeling discontent? Frustrated with your season, your home, your people, or even yourself? If so, friend, you are not alone. This episode was one I had to stop everything to record because I am living it right now. I’ve been in a challenging season, and my spirit needed these reminders just as much as yours does. We’ve been talking a lot about the enemy’s schemes lately, and one of the biggest ones he uses is discontentment. He wants you to focus on what’s lacking—what’s broken—so you never see what God is actually doing. Today we’re digging into what Scripture says about being content in every situation and the practical rhythms that help us live this out. If you’ve been overwhelmed, frustrated, or feeling sorry for yourself—even in the middle of a blessing—you’re in the right place. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Today’s episode is such a gift, friend. I got to sit down with one of my dear friends and former neighbors, Ana, and talk about something I know so many of us are thinking about: How do we prepare our kids to thrive in the workforce and be a light for Christ in an ever-changing world? If you’ve ever looked at the next generation and felt nervous, confused, or overwhelmed (hello Gen Z stereotypes!), this conversation will encourage you. Ana has lived in the corporate world for nearly two decades, worked in both finance and marketing, managed teams, mentored young professionals, and now runs Business Excellence Hub, a program designed to fill the massive gap between what kids learn in school and what they actually need to succeed in real life. If you have a teen, college student, or even an elementary child you’re already thinking 10 steps ahead for, this episode will give you clarity, hope, and so many practical tools for raising confident, capable, young leaders. https://www.businessexcellencehub.com/ https://www.instagram.com/behub_us/ love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama? Do you know what the voice of the enemy sounds like? Can you catch thoughts that don’t align with God’s truth—before they take root in your mind? If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, bitter, ashamed, or constantly battling discouraging thoughts, this episode is for you. Today, we’re talking about catching the enemy—recognizing where his voice is sneaking into your life and learning how to take those thoughts captive so you can walk in peace and freedom. The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy, and while we often imagine that as big external attacks, most of the time he’s working through our thought life. He plants small, subtle lies that feel like our own thoughts—“It’s not fair,” “He doesn’t care,” “I’ll never be enough,” “I’m the only one who does anything.” Those lies slowly divide our marriages, drain our joy in motherhood, and distort our view of God and ourselves. love, Brittany    Ready to become a peaceful wife and Mama?
