Most are not willing to sacrifice nights out, alcohol, shitty food, weekends with the boys/girls, friendships to fulfill their goals and dreams. That is why most goals and dreams die before they even start.
Emotions can be difficult to manage. Especially when you are in a position of leadership and everything that happens in your organization or team is essentially your fault. Leaders who lead on emotions alone will often struggle. Happy, sad, mad, anxious all have the potential to result in poor decision making. Leaders who can control their emotions and lead on metrics and fact will usually see better results.
There are a lot of "measuring sticks" walking around. When you do something "abnormal" or shocking to them, they start to ask questions. How many have you sold? What was your time? What place did you take? How many downloads? How many people showed up? They just want to see how you "size up" , but rarely does a "measuring stick" do anything but assess and compare having never done anything of significance themselves.
We spend so much time and resources trying to "fix" our weaknesses and very little time figuring out our strengths. Utilizing our strengths will take us MUCH farther than spending time trying to correct and worry about all our weaknesses.
I have created 9 LLC's and out of those nine the most successful one is the ONE that I have focused on the most. There rest failed or are stagnant and produce NO revenue. Moral of the story, stop chasing shiny pennies and focus on the ONE thing that is growing your life and business.
