In the realm of affection's tale, a lady's heart intertwined with that of a humble shoemaker. Alas, he spurned her advances, misjudging her due to the shadows of her mental struggles. Undeterred, the woman chose an unconventional path to express her adoration. With each loving beat of her heart, she adorned her days with mimicry of the shoemaker's customary hand motions, a silent symphony of devotion that danced through her existence until the final whisper of her mortal coil.
তোমার দেখা পাচ্ছি না; তোমার দেড়-তলা বাড়িটাকে দেখতেছি। বাদামি পর্দা-উড়া-হালকা-খোলা জানলা দিয়ে যত ভেতরে দেখা যায়। ছাদে শুকাতে দেয়া কাপড় চোপড়, “ফিরোজা+পিংক” কম্বিনেশন ড্রেসে তোমাকে একদিন মর্কেটে দেখেছিলাম; ওই ড্রেসটা কি ভিজায় থাকে, শুকাইতে দাও না, ছায়াতে শুকাও ? গোপনে শুকাও ?
তোমার এলাকার হোটেলগুলায় নাশতা; দুপুর, রাতের খাবার, টং দোকানের চিনি-ছাড়া-কাঁচাপাতি-দুধ-বেশি-চা; চানাচুর, আপঝাপ, মিনারেল পানি, চুইংগাম, ক্যাকজ্যাক খাচ্ছি প্রসংসা করছি। তোমারে খাইতে পারতেছি না।
তোমার এলাকার রোদ, বৃষ্টি, ধোলিবালি, প্যাঁক, ময়লাটয়লা লাগায় বেড়াচ্ছি;তোমারে লাগানো হইয়েই উঠতেছে না, হবে …
তোমার এলাকা ছাইড়া যাচ্ছি;
তোমারে ছাড়ার ফিলিংস্ হচ্ছে, হোক –

Love is like a flower and it’s blooming even with thorns too. This poem is the signature style of poet Sunil Gangulee which portrays - ‘If she gives you butterflies, get ready for thorns too.’
Love is an action that someone can have with anyone regardless of marital status. This Bengali poetry depicts the same taking Radha-Krishna as the example. It's a Bengali poem of pathos. After so many years the girl met with a mad person in a traffic jam while traveling by her car. She couldn't recognize her beloved person whom she have betrayed at her twenty three years of age. The name of the poem is ‘Tomar Teish Bachhar(তোমার তেইশ বছর)’ means ‘Your twenty three years of age.’ Poet- Soubhik Bandyopadhyay and Recitor- Arijit Banik
