As a public artist, Ward has created murals for Africatown and Midtown Square highlighting local Black histories. In 2020, Ward became the inaugural Waterfront Park Artist-in-Residence, and organized and participated in the creation of the Black Lives Matter mural on Capitol Hill, which is now an enduring Seattle memorial. In everything she does, Ward seeks to enable artistry in others and her new storefront and business 'The ReSole206', which is Seattles newest home for everything sneakers related is a prime example.
