A recap of today’s College Football games, it was another exciting week of football. Tune in as I breakdown who played who and which teams took home W’s.

On June 19, 1865 African Americans were officially freed from slavery. This is a very important day for us all because it gives us the opportunity to continue to grow together as a human race and understand that African Americans put up one hell of a fight to get to where we are today. Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglass, Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr. Malcom X and so many more black heroes fought tooth and nail for African American rights and stood tall on what they believed in. We will continue to grow together as one and continue to build friendships, relationships and families as we celebrate this wonderful holiday.

Once you make that decision that you want to overcome something or take that step forward, life may sometimes throw us a curveball. But this is just one of life’s tricks to see if you are serious or not. Sometimes we make the right decisions and sometimes we fall for the magic trick again. “Once you understand life’s magic trick, you are never fooled again.” So take that leap of faith and get one step closer to your higher power!

Big shift in the atmosphere. Hotter summers and snowy winters in the near future in Houston.

As the NFL Playoffs has officially begun, the Houston Texans hosted the Los Angeles Chargers and people were assuming that the Chargers had a first round bye, the disrespect! The Texans looked like the team that should’ve had a bye as they slapped the Chargers in the mouth in the first round of the playoffs. We started off rocky but as the game went on we started clicking on all cylinders and eliminated the Chargers from the playoffs, we will face the Kansas City Chiefs in the second round next week. Stay tuned!

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be playing against the Ohio State Buckeyes in the College Football National Championship. The Fighting Irish beat the Penn State Nittany Lions in the final seconds with a game winning field goal, while the Ohio State Buckeyes showed that they were too much for the Texas Longhorns. We shall see which team comes out on top as we are at the end of this remarkable College Football Season.

This week marks the final games of the regular season in the NFL. The first round of the playoffs will be an interesting one as these teams will have to give it their all to advance and move on to the next round. We can’t wait to see how things play out.

We are now down to the final four teams in the College Football Playoffs. The Texas Longhorns vs. Ohio State and Penn State vs. Notre Dame. The battlefield is heating up and we will see which teams will come out victorious next week, and who will be competing in the National Championship on January 20th.

The NFL playoffs is near and we will get a chance to see which teams will be playing against one another.

The first round of the College Football Playoffs has begun, and a few teams will not be advancing to the second round. As much as we hate to see them go, things have to crank up a notch. Penn State beat SMU and will be playing Boise State in the second round. Texas handled Clemson and will play Arizona State next. Ohio State showed Tennessee that they were no match and will be playing Oregon in the next round, and Notre Dame beat Indiana to advance and play Georgia next. This football season was exciting and the heat is turning on as we have more football to play. We will see which team will take all as we near the end!

We have so much to be thankful for this time of the year and I am grateful to be able to enjoy the most wonderful time of the year with you ladies and gentlemen again. Malcolm X once said in order for us as African Americans to grow and build together, we must first go back and do research on our ancestors. By us doing this, not only will we have a better understanding about ourselves and our ancestors. But we will also gain more wisdom and knowledge because we are naturally wise individuals. We will understand how our ancestors stuck together and fought for us to be here today and how strong their love was for one another. We are very loving creatures but we show hate towards each other. Today our connections are weaker than ever, we are disconnected in jobs, education, organizations and even gangs. It is easy to cut us out because we have no pull in these places. Now would be the perfect time to connect and grow together so we can shine like the stars we are.

With AI coming into play, this new form of artificial intelligence is a good way of helping us with content, videos, pictures, creating ideas for ourselves and etc. But with this new form of intelligence will it become overstimulating to the human mind? Not just mentally, but physically as well. Will they start making AI robots that favor humans and are able to read our emotions and base ideas off how we think? With the College Football Playoffs coming up, we will get to see how these matchups play out and which team will take it all.

It was some very intense games yesterday and all except one game ended in barn burners! SMU put up one hell of a fight but could not beat Clemson in the final seconds. Texas played aggressive on defense but in the end Georgia had the final laugh, and beat the Longhorns in overtime. Oregon is the only team to remain undefeated in the top 25 as they held off Penn State, and Arizona State pounded Iowa State as they put up almost 200 yards rushing. It was an exciting weekend and we will see who’s in the 12 team College Football Playoffs.

This will be the final week of the college football season before the 12 team playoffs begin. It’s been a fun ride and we will see who comes out on top at the end. But for now we get to see who’s in and who’s out. Let the games begin!
