The Beast is Back

The Beast is Back

Due to the enormous QUANTITATIVE advantage held by the Soviet Union during the Cold War, US policy shifted to maximizing the QUALITATIVE advantages of Western technology when it came to weapon systems. And so the US Army built what was unquestionable the best tank in the world: The M1A1 Abrams, also known as The Beast due to its battlefield dominance. But that was 1980. So what now? Meet the M1E3. And baby, The Beast is Back!

So often in the darkest hours of a nation’s history, an unknown figure appears to rally a declining civilization and return it to its natural greatness — Joan of Arc being a notable example. But Joan of Arc was REAL. Is it possible, in the digital age, that such a hero could be VIRTUAL? Why, yes. Yes it is possible.
Prices are still too high for many Americans. Combine that with the usual historical trend for the House to flip parties two years after a Presidential election and November could be grim for Republicans. But could a projected SIX PERCENT economic growth for 2026 save the midterms?
For FORTY SEVEN YEARS now Iran has been at war with the United States. Never has the Islamic regime been more at risk. The remarkably successful US military operations against Iran’s nuclear facilities and Venezuela’s communist dictator have show them that their enemy not only has the capability, but also the will, to use these astonishing assets, without falling into a fatal quagmire of ‘boots on the ground.’ They sound worried. They should be.
He took the most boring, the most unglamorous, and the most important jobs in America and made them FUNNY. He had an unerring eye for institutionalized stupidity. And he departed this life with dignity and grace. He will be sorely missed.
She’s killed off more loved ones than the Bubonic Plague. She’s utterly wrecked what was once the most valuable IP in the world. For 13 years she has brought her venom, her bitterness and her feminism (but I repeat myself) to Lucasfilm and systematically destroyed what used to be the very heart of pop culture. Now, for the fourth or fifth time, she says she is about to step down. Is it too late?
When the small brushfire that would go on to consume Pacific Palisades (and kill 12 people) was just one hour old, an urgent request for bulldozers to create a firebreak to contain it was met with this response from the Los Angeles Fire Department: “Heck no! That area is filled with endangered plants!” The fire went on to consume 6,837 structures and burned for 24 days.
The Kansas City Chiefs are considering a move from Kansas City, Missouri to Kansas City, Kansas. Why? How does $2.75 BILLION of incentive strike you? Guess who’s paying?
You could buy entire FLEETS of oil tankers with the money that have already stolen, and it appears that we are only scratching the surface. Why did the mainstream media not catch this story? Why try so hard to discredit the regular American patriot who did? And most importantly: who in the Minnesota state government let them in, funded them, and benefits the most from this state-coordinated crime caper?
Back in September President Trump ordered National Guard troops into Washington DC to restore order — a move that was shocking in its effectiveness. But legally and constitutionally, DC is a unique case. The Supreme Court has blocked the President’s attempt to do the same in order to protect ICE agents in Chicago, and your Right Angle team takes a look at the problem from both a practical and philosophical angle.
Late one night last week, Bill was wondering — just in an offhand way — whether it would be cheaper to refurbish the four Iowa-class battleships (all are museum ships today) or simply build new ones. THE NEXT DAY, President Trump announced the first of the eponymously named BBGs: Guided Missile Battleships. After 80 years, the game not only changed… it looks like it actually changed BACK.
Last week was a tough news week: murders and mayhem everywhere you look. Steve Green brings us another homicide case currently being investigated: Lord of the Rings actor Andy Sirkis has decided to remake George Orwell’s classic take on the horrors of socialism, Animal Farm, and turn it into a fun-loving, family-friendly romp on the horrors of CAPITALISM. And there goes another actor whose work we all used to admire greatly…
New Media giant Netflix has made an offer to buy Old Media giant Warner Brothers for seventy-something BILLION dollars. Many are bemoaning it as ‘the end of the movies as we know them.’ But ‘the end of the movies as we know them’ is not due to some corporate acquisition: the problem is much, much deeper than that.

Not the kids — the devices. Specifically, the social media programs. Australia has decided that the harm caused to young people by apps like TikTok, Instagram, SnapChat and all the rest far outweigh their benefits. Should kids be kept away from social media? And perhaps more to the point: CAN THEY be kept away from social media?

Despite the thicket of regulations and choking corporate tax rates that were once the envy of the world, the good old U.S. of A. somehow keeps managing to not only stave off international economic competition — we’re actually pulling away and widening our lead. How do we do it?
Waymo, whose fully automated, self-driving cars are a common sight in Los Angeles, has recently released it’s raw data on several years of practical, on-the-road traffic accidents. It turns out that even first-generation self-driving cars are at least TEN TIMES SAFER than those driven by humans (and the true number might be much more than that). From a safety point of view, the future clearly seems to favor automation. But is there more to driving a car than just safety?
Elon Musk predicts that in the not too distant future, huge advances in productivity brought on by AI and robotics could create a world where WORK is entirely option. There’s a very good chance he’s right. But if he is, does this road lead us to paradise, or perdition?
How does one describe an existential horror too overwhelming to be put into mere words? YOU FEEL IT IN YOUR BODY! So says former First Lady Michelle Obama. Is she referring to the horrors of war? The mindless terror of genocide? The chaotic and unexpected fury of some natural disaster? Oh no amigos. It’s MUCH WORSE than that. Oh, the humanity!

How many violent criminals are in a crowd? You might be shocked to discover that even in a major city of several million people that number may consist of just a few hundred. So why not lock THEM up?
Various shell companies are buying properties adjacent to some of America's most sensitive military installations -- including Whiteman, AFB, home of the USAF's B-2 Spirit stealth bombers -- and a shocking number of the REAL owners are... CHINA.

Great show. I like to hear what old guys like me are thinking. I didn't used to think I was old until I realized 1984 (when I graduated from highschool) was well you do the math, I have to sit down..

In Poland (a conservative country!), prisoners have a duty to work. For their work, they have to receive at least minimal pay (the Polish Constitutional Court has decided that this is a question of their dignity protected by the constitution).1/2 goes towards restitution, from the other half, things such as child/spouse support, insurances etc. are deducted, the rest goes into a savings account (for the time after being released). The punishment is the loss of freedom and inmates return to society after having learned that honest work pays (not only several cents per hours) and having the means to reboot their life outside resulting in a managable low recidivism rate. Maybe the US could copy-paste this conservative solution?

Does mental illness cause liberalism or does liberalism cause mental illness? Maybe we should return to the time when only land-owning men could vote.

"Everyone kneeled together". that was the heart of the American people. BLM was not kneeling. Antifa was not kneeling. They were not healing. They were staging bricks, bats, and Molotov cocktails.

The dems/msm are the one's ripping the country apart. It started immediately when Trump was elected - they couldn't handle it. They clearly don't care about more than half the country who have to work for a living & don't get paid when they don't work. We also do not have lucrative pensions & benefits like gov't receives FROM US, I might add! They are clearly still throwing a temper tantrum because they LOST!

bill we finally disagree....a hunch equals reasonable suspicion. The police do have the right to investigate further. Your comparison of the tax lean does NOT hold water. you forget that driving a car is not a right but a privilege. I was a police officer for 20 years and a criminal defense investigator for 11 years. I am sorry you are just wrong
