In today’s episode of The Female Fitness Podcast I talk about the last couple of months (I can’t believe it’s been that long since I last uploaded!) and everything that’s been going on from a health, fitness, and life perspective.
I talk through the half marathon I ran a few weeks ago and falling sick after that, how it really knocked my confidence and I was tempted to pull out of my upcoming races, my plans now, and what getting back to training has looked like for me.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, requests for future content, or if you’d like some support with your own health and fitness goals!

If you’re in Sheffield and interested in 1-2-1 or small group PT, message me on instagram expressing your interest and I’ll send over all the details you need.
In today’s episode of The Female Fitness Podcast I talk about how we often we end up placing far too much emphasis on the specific end goal, and not enough on the process itself when it comes to health and fitness (and business too!).
I talk about why you might want to shift your focus to the process of showing up for yourself consistently, the commitment to progression, and the lessons you’ll learn from that - that can be applied to other aspects of life and different goals as you grow and evolve.
Because your goals will change throughout your life, you may get to a point where those you have now no longer matter to you. But you’ll always carry with you the lessons you learnt in pursuit of them.
I give some examples of lessons I learnt throughout my time bodybuilding that still serve me now even though my goals and values have completely changed to emphasise the points I make here!
I always love hearing from you lot so drop me a DM at @dannibosworth and let me know your thoughts!

In today’s episode of The Female Fitness Podcast I talk about my own journey with all things health and fitness!
I go all the way back to when I got into fitness in the first place, cover my time competing in bodybuilding, and how that lead to where I am now - in a place of flourishing health after having moved away from the extremes.
I delve into the state my health was in towards the end of my time in bodybuilding and what made me decide to make a change and move away from the sport.
I talk through what that journey consisted of and how I pushed through the more challenging times during that period of time, as it wasn’t smooth sailing by any means.
I hope you enjoy this episode of the podcast and are able to take something away from it yourselves!
As always I love hearing from those of you that tune in and really appreciate your time, so drop me a message and let me know if you have any questions, suggestions, or feedback on the pod.

In today's episode of The Female Fitness Podcast I discuss the importance of rest and pulling back to move forward in fitness and business.
Topics
Importance of Rest in Training
- Recent experience: Running performance declined due to accumulated stress
- Pulled back on volume/intensity for 2 weeks, took 1 week off

Applying Rest Concept to Business
- Quality over quantity in work output
- Signs to pull back: creativity drain, poor focus, ineffective communication
- Short-term rest leads to long-term progress and better quality work
Strategies for Improving Relationship with Rest
- Start small: Add extra rest day during stressful week
- Note impacts: positives, negatives, energy levels, recovery
- Lean into discomfort of trying new rest patterns
- Use personal proof to reinforce benefits of rest

Your Nutrition - Your Training - Your life.
It’s about finding your sweet spot with nutrition, training, and your life ~ in order to facilitate growth across ALL areas.
In today's episode of The Female Fitness Podcast I go into this in far more detail, talking about the 3 pillars of Find Your Flow Coaching and how I support my clients in making progress within each of them.
I discuss how we go beyond surface level in order to leave each individual I work with feeling truly happy, satisfied, and content - as opposed to setting surface level goals and feeling empty at the end of the process. Or worse, going backwards because the work the individual really needed was neglected.
I also talk about how I personally embody the principles of my coaching.
If any of you have any questions whatsoever please don't hesitate to reach out - I'd love to hear from you and there are never any strings attached!

In this week’s episode of The Female Fitness Podcast I talk about how it’s absolutely ok to want to lose body fat or build muscle tissue whether that’s to support your health, performance, or personal preference!
There’s nothing wrong with fat loss or muscle gain when pursued in the right way at the right time,
People often just overestimate it’s importance, and neglect the work that’s really going to result in the outcome they’re seeking.😌

In this week’s episode of The Female Fitness Podcast myself, Michelle Carroll, and Jess Neary chat about what going ‘Beyond The Basics’ means to us as coaches, and how we embody that within our practice.
We discuss the points in our journey/career we realised there was more to fitness,
And why we think it’s important for coaches and their clients to push beyond generic information given around online data, pushing for performance, and sacrificing everything in pursuit of a transformation picture.
We’re diving deeper into all of this and so much more at our event on May 11th in Manchester.

In today's episode of The Female Fitness Podcast I talk about how having a poor relationship with food and/or your body can show up in your life on a practical level…
And therefore how doing the work could genuinely change the entire trajectory of your life.
My hope is that this podcast will be a catalyst for some of you to start doing the work you really need,
And help those of you who are coaches recognise how important it is to address this side of things with your clients.
