As for social media, apart from sites connected to music or video and a family group, I am a very light user. I occasionally use Facebook but just as an observer, not having contributed anything for years. I have never used any of the other major providers. It is very quiet where I am so that the recording I made yesterday morning, apart from the odd passing vehicle (rush hour traffic!), a few rooks and a gull, is largely composed of amplified ambient noise. I combined this with a contrasting slow rhythmic track of metallic sounds. If a room is decorated in a single colour there are obviously still considerable variations depending on how the light and shadow fall on the various surfaces and on the quality and brightness of the light source.
