Hey, you may be wondering why this is episode 84.5 instead of episode 85. And why it’s a re-airing of episode 25 with Rosie Richeson from 2020. Just as I finished episode 85, it was brought to my attention by the enough. podcast that my originally scheduled guest was harbouring a sexual predator and abuser. My scheduled guest’s bandmate has been accused by multiple women of sexual assault and abuse. He and the rest of the band denied the allegations and posted victim-blaming rhetoric on social media. Like the caring and kind people who produce the enough. podcast, I stand with these survivors and will not be giving my scheduled guest any airtime. Host Jason Schreurs welcomes Rosie Richeson, screamer in Night Witch, a hardcore/punk band from Tallahassee, Florida. Rosie talks about the mental health advocacy work she's done and how to take care of yourself to avoid burnout. She also addresses sexual predators in the punk scene and her zero tolerance policy on dudes who use the punk scene to abuse people. http://nightwitchfl.bandcamp.com Featured songs: Night Witch - "No Access" from Who's Next (2018) Bad Sleep - "Reaction" from Self Titled (2018) Night Witch - "Lucky" from Discography (2017) Night Witch - "Who's Next" from Who's Next (2018) Photo: Courage Music Photography The SCREAM THERAPY BOOK is now available!
