Katharine pilots us thru a melodic trek across the vibrant constellations. Jumping from star to star consumes a lot of time. There is always parts that can be double or triple checked on a spaceship to make sure things are in their optimal working condition. Preventative maintenance can help make one more confident that issues will not happen. Still, something can go wrong with anomalies in space. Just recently, the ships communication system has been in and out of commission. Finding a place to land so the low-gain antennas can be worked on wasn't hard. Once landed, the power subsystem was turned down and then set to offline. The landscape immediately reverted itself to a very old but familiar place. Cat is hissing at the T-Rex off in the distance. Katharine is here to make things more enjoyable while things get reset. The hypnotic beats can certainly lift your spirits. The bleeps and buzzes definitely get your attention. Other times, the melodies make you smile and sway. There are times when it sounds like someone is working in a docking bay with tools. The combination of them being blended, excites all the senses. Thankfully, she is playing analog with vinyl since everything is off network currently... @katharine-motiontheory
Interpolarm provides us a groovy soundtrack for a journey to far-reaching cities. Planet travelling is a long-exhausting expedition filled with downtime. Lonely hours surround by blinking lights with pages upon pages of celestial cartography on the docket can be a bit of a rigmarole. There isn't enough coffee in a solar day to keep our attention. We do enjoy the occasional warning bleeps on our console's that make their presence known but we need a more involved score to keep our focus and raise our spirit's. Enter Interpolarm to satisfy this lust for life and give us something to get up to. Filled with infectious beats and rhythms that blend perfectly, the rise of energy throughout this odyssey verges on hedonistic. The organic drums resonate over lunar sounding accents is a mighty mix of space and land perfect for star-cruising. The occasional vocal passages just increases the vigor to overload. We wonder if homebase will mind if this ship is set to autopilot while we dance. @interpolarm
Eric Louis conducts a demonstration of quantum musical projections. Spirit Canyon Solo is more than just a performance. It's a true sonic spectacle for true fans of intergalactic dub techno. An express shuttle brings all the initiates to the delay mystery to get them illuminate the cultural and natural heritage of the planet Kepler-62e. The best landscapes are selected to accompany this spatial audio. Benevolent authentic creations swoop around: from ubiquitous reverbs and rhythm section philosophy to extended chants and enriching overtone textures. The breath of life with its mysterious loops and neat melodic swaying inflates the uninhabited wasteland. @dj-eric-louis
Dust Yard is doing some transitional styling in the name of the winter solstice. Lunar Santa is in a hurry to congratulate everyone who has behaved well this year. The sack with cherished gifts is stuffed to the top: there's a model of the rocket booster, a brand-new storybook, and even a can of surströmming. The only thing that is not in the bag is a festive compilation for body and soul. The French alchemist will provide it, overcompensating for this lack. In the middle of a frozen lake, an event dedicated to musical passions takes place. This careful flow of the rhythm warms you up like a mug of hot chocolate on a frosty day. Ki.Mi.'s remix gets the blood pumping in the free space: the relentless light heats, balanced lows and mysterious rustles. Nadja Lind enchants one with her treatment of velvety French, sublime brass and magical synth melody, while Makam sums it up with monumental rumbles, distant pulses and pastel pads. @dustyard
Monosphere is commissioning his new design creation. The multi-purpose research unit with flight number 84 has been successfully launched and has already delivered all mission participants to the orbit of the Mesozoic planet. The cruiser is equipped with an elaborate communication system and consists of various parts: an engineering deck, photon torpedo launchers, defence deflectors, an antimatter converter and proton sails. A majestic landscape opens up from the observation compartment. Climbing onto the command deck, it is possible to see every detail out there with the help of advanced analysis mechanisms. Auxiliary shuttles provide rapid transportation of crew members to and from the celestial body. Right now, however, the docking airlocks are inactive because something important is happening. An electro-sonic workshop with collectable dub-techno textures captures the attention of the entire crew. The piercing aesthetic of information becomes a real discovery surrounded by pile-driving percussion, atomic pads, delays and reverbs. The non-linear drawing of the acoustic structure builds up a story by fixing the reference points: interstellar synthesiser dust, shimmering vocal pulsars, amorphous lows and omnipresent rhythmic asteroids. @deep_electronic

spclnch podcast #83 / Sa3b

2023-11-0101:00:14

Sa3b has prepared treats with a smooth consistency and a strong dub flavour. The reason for the dinner party is the eve of All Saints' Day. Halloween will accept any adornment and imagery, be it painted faces with sinister grimaces or a costume of a Minimal-antagonist. Jack-o-lanterns ward off all evil and complement the themed decorations while the main guest paints pragmatic silhouettes on the musical canvas. The pervasive mix sprawls like ivy using effective sonic rebuses and sombre semantic thickets. The close ties of Lebanese culture promote its further development, which finds expression in a romanticised approach and a keen eye for genre variations. The collective image of the selection is vast: the outlines of coastal streets, dim lights and suppressed whispers are evident in Alex Humann's remix, whereas Code Deploy's spiralling rhythmic pattern with its chirping tops gives you goosebumps, and Audub lulls you to sleep with a lamplight glow and goodbyes. @sa3b
Armin Bender has confidently joined the team of musical tomb raiders. The ancestors’ dimension attracts with mysteries and its resemblance to the familiar historical past, but its furious guards are dangerous. To get rid of them, it is necessary to follow a particular frequency. Among the spots of quicksands, you can hardly notice the paths leading to the monument of electronic art. Unravelling the system of chambers, galleries, and ventilation ducts is only possible in a specific state of mind, the one close to sound reflection. An unstoppable German adventurer volunteered to pave the way to the dub-treasury by employing a unique code that bypasses the traps. Woven into its structure are enchanted ultra rhythms with Per Hammar’s secret messages and signals, Krisz Deak’s ephemeral high-level processes, and Donato Dozzy’s flow of moderate forms and spiritual states. @arminbender

spclnch podcast #81 / Laenk

2023-10-0201:01:41

Laenk, as is customary, did not come to be embraced by the guest column empty-handed. At first glance, the abandoned village within the boundaries of anomaly 418-R is unremarkable: run-down houses, windy paths, and courtyards covered with neglected thickets. However, fluorescent rain has been pouring down from a cloud that stuck above it for a thousand years. That is why the soil around it has turned into a shining canvas, which can become a suitable illumination for any event. One of them was a DJ festival held under the auspices of the Venus Biomolecular Institute. The goal of the organizers was to identify through a visual method the fundamentals of the influence that music has on humans. As a master from the registry of the audio stream management, Laenk was invited to the experiment. His mixing of sound volumes is famous for its ability to program the listener with rhythmic vibrations. To make the interaction as efficient as possible, it is necessary to add hidden dub textures full of chilling echoes from Van Bonn, punchy grooves with explosive percussion from Artyom Kozlov, and a composition filled with synth light from Elpierro. @laenk
A unique blend from Spclnch’s secret music library is the work of Andrey Pushkarev. In addition to various discoveries, the artefacts closet is filled with vinyl records, an impressive collection of which are also displayed along the whole wall. There is also a wide selection on the shelves behind the shoulders of these experienced diggers, literally and figuratively. It is for this reason that the habit of handling music well is formed. An example of such a skill was the respect paid by guests with particular accents. Of course, some guests are old but gold: the DP-6 duo, sophisticated by experience, accurately constructs sound textures, maestro Basicnoise again extracts tactile forms of dub techno, and Federsen shows exactness and attention to the details of the genre. @andrey-pushkarev
Leipzig is on-air! Codename Mint4000 is broadcasting in the interplanetary frequency range. The studio for the radio show, to which the main guest is invited with a vinyl set, is decorated with the artwork of the young Spaceman Golden, who attracted unprecedented attention with his funny shot. In addition to references to the times of freedom, ups and downs, everything here is imbued with unconditional love for music: there are remixes of soul-funk legends, gentle as whipped cream, jazzy house, intricate minimal abstractions and much more. Going live, Lawrence impresses with variability and layering, Boards Of Canada pampers with a fleecy dip, and youANDme exposes their tribal with progressive inserts. @mint4000
Music is present even in laboratory analysis. Christine Schieffer measures dance algorithms empirically. There is a demonstration class at the Department of Experimental Phonetics and Speech Synthesis. The choir of humanoid students generates an accompaniment of different keys. The teachers closely follow their practical work. These wanna-be signal analysts and intergalactic translators may be among the participants. Sound adjustments are made by Enzo Leep using dense percussion, Phoq causes acoustic mutations, and Krissky conducts instrumental bundles. @christineschieffer
The magic of numbers and the secrets of design developments are the topics of Spiri:tual's scientific work. The restricted territory of the test site SP77 is full of radioactive waste and gloomy bunkers. Lost in oblivion, several panel dormitories are still preserved in this half-empty district. Propaganda banners are still stretched on the roofs to this day, as a reminder of the bygone greatness of the Alliance. Is this a place for parties? If an experienced engineer is behind the turntables, everything becomes possible. When the check-up of the sound system is completed, the main show begins. The timing of the recording contains the riddles from Silat Beksi's consciousness, the futuristic mysticism of Floog and the technical arrangements of Direkt. @spiritualimprima
The underground communication system penetrates dozens of miles around the headquarters of the Aerospace Corporation. The place of attraction has been uniting those who disagree with the addictive lifestyle for years. The ventilated section of the secret lodge carries important news around. The mighty pilgrim and ruler of the Spessartian forest has been proclaimed the leader of the rebel movement. From now on, the hand of justice will crash anyone who violates the unspoken code of musicality. A set of semantic master keys of the German illusionist picks up the passwords to the doors of consciousness and allows one to get closer and closer to the desired goal — the downfall of sound monotony. @arkadiusz-dmytrow @afterhour-sounds
An imitation of a dense Vietnamese jungle in one of the Saturn settlements attracts by its refreshing coolness. The areas overgrown with reeds make up the natural boundaries of the dancefloor. A party of the space vibe fans activates the inner metronome. The response of the emotional palette signifies the launch of Gilles Wasserman's multisensory communication. The music of atomic numbers analyses the surrounding space in real-time to form a collective composition in which anyone present can become an artist or the creator of some unusual masterpiece. Dorisburg's healing sound interacts with Claudio PRC's ufological oscillations and harmonic wind improvisations in the remix for Francis Harris. @gilleswasserman @itsdelayed
The Interplanetary Floristry Landscape Fair takes place on the lands of the ruling Elven dynasty. The best connoisseurs of ideal flat landscapes gather among ornamental shrubs. Perfectionism oozes from every corner of visual design, representing the richness of intrazonal vegetation. Caring for the natural environment is paramount for Konstantin Kost, the founder of such a large-scale event. Meanwhile, other like-minded people – Badeo, Andre Kronert and Exos – help with learning activities. @konstantin_kost
The functional biosphere complex, founded in the first century of the modern era, is one of the outstanding monuments of proto-architecture. The renovation made it possible to use the lobby to commemorate the most exceptional sound enthusiasts. The main stage is surrounded by lotuses that embody the image of rebirth and the fundamental nature of being. The winner of the current ceremony is Alessandro Crimi. He converts his noteworthy word into the mouthpiece from the era that holds the secrets of worlds sunk into oblivion. Pablo Bolivar, the mysterious Yaleesa Hall and Malin Genie have also received awards for their significant contributions to the study of electronics. @alessandro_crimi
The lens of the reproduction camera focuses on the main events of the multiverse that hides many dangers, unpredictable encounters and discoveries. A summary of exciting intergalactic stories has already been developed and stacked in a frame-by-frame manner in an audio sequence with such a storytelling that it provides the right base for an exciting dive. Unimaginable characters, secret locations and of course music - all of it in the new season of adventures SL40—SL49. Russian version: https://soundcloud.com/spclnch/season-three-spclnch-ru
Who would have thought that refurbishing the studio that looked over Uranus rolling in its orbit would require so many resources! The dialogic interaction has finally become available to all adepts of improvisation who can now drop by for a party, try all the gadgets and have plenty of music. This place is about to become another source of good energy, besides Orlan 19, so no particular persuasion is needed to get one to take a break from discussions on the origin of eukaryotes or trans-isomerism. Lively performances will be held here with enviable regularity, marking the valuable coordinates on the celestial map. Tm Shuffle, who knows firsthand how to attract attention with jewellery compilations, has come to the opening. An expert delegation consisting of Federsen, Luke Hess and Markus Suckut helps him provide artistic images and shape the drama and the concept of sound collages. @tm_shuffle
The basic noise comes from the citadel of scientific disciplines. The square near the Department of Machine Learning and Data Analysis is packed — the crowds of extragalactic races have surrounded the source of attractive meta-vibrations. The maestro is controlling the decks, ignoring the flotilla of patrol flying saucers and the pile of casemates. A top-secret location based dozens of astronomical units from the Sun turns into the epicenter of pleasure. The educational mission is gaining momentum thanks to the assistance of BDTom, Nicholas Barnes and Schulz Audio. — @basicnoise
