Our first meeting with Poly's ambient selection took place on HAZE boat while sailing by the river in Moscow city centre, with modern skyscrapers and Soviet historical architecture in the background. That was some time ago, and since then, we've wanted to add her musical story to our library.
Poly is a DJ, Tur vinyl label boss and a resident of Moscow’s HAZE and Mizar communities. With her sets she travelled from Europe to South America, performed at different clubs and major festivals, sharing line-ups with producers such as Cezar, Dubtil, Cally, Andrei Ciubuc, Dragomir, Lizz and many others.
This set was recorded live at HAZE Boutique ambient space at Signal festival. You will hear a high-vibrational ambient journey that ends with tracks composed by a producer when he was in high states of consciousness reached through practice of yoga, tantra, and meditation.

For the 50th edition of the podcast, we are proud to present a beautiful art piece by @r_mina. Armina is our good old friend, with whom we began our exploration of ambient and experimental music back in the day at the legendary @arma17. The team from the @do-nothing promo group decided to transform the main Gallery dancefloor into a non-dance space with experimental music, marking the beginning of a whole new world. We are honoured to feature someone from that very world, especially for this anniversary edition.
After more than a decade immersed on the dancefloor, R_Mina has stepped behind the decks and into the studio, translating years of raving into a distinct sonic identity. Shaped by formative nights at institutions like Arma17, Berghain and Tresor, her sound draws from the raw power of warehouse techno, channelled through a deeply personal lens.
Her debut ambient set unfolds like a memory—brooding, cinematic, and quietly intense. With a palette of melancholic textures and submerged melodies, R_Mina weaves together a narrative of longing and introspection, a meditation on the beauty found in shadow and silence. Blending deep, dark, anxious and pensive tracks, her ambient set brims with nostalgia and reflections of shadows from the past.

Deyan Zlatinov a.k.a @loopdeville has spent the last 15 years developing his sound starting from Comics Club, Weekend Club in his home town Varna, Bulgaria to places like London, UK and currently residing in Spain.
Releases for labels like BodyParts, Delooped, SkipAudio, Modeight, FoxonWax, Karton to name a few have given him the opportunity to travel around Europe and showcase his love for electronic music by dj-ing at various venues including the legendary CDV, Berlin.
We are excited to have him on the series and hear a different side of him, mellow, moody and all about that rainy ambient experience.

We’re beyond excited to share a special mixtape with you from @hoavi (aka Kirill Vasin), a St Petersburg-based producer and DJ who has been an integral part of the underground scene for over a decade.
Hoavi’s journey began in the early 2010s when he founded his label, Shells Rattle, and he has since released music on labels such as floe, Snare Tapes, Peak Oil, Fauxpas, Minor Notes and ГОСТ ЗВУК. Beyond his solo work, Hoavi has collaborated with artists like Oomkah Dee, contributing to the "Collage" series, which blends sound art with contemporary dance. We've first got acquainted with his ambient side thanks to the album "Music for Six Rooms" which we also invite you to revisit. We were so taken by it at the time that we reached out to him to add one more gem to our collection.
The mix he recorded for us is a beautiful blend of genres and emotions, with ambient tracks, dubby sounds and abstract beats – a journey through soundscapes and experimental vibes. It’s not pure ambient, but the sound flows so naturally that it felt like the perfect fit for our series.

This session features Sofia performing live piano at @arma17, blending classical elements with electronic soundscapes, and the extension of the story recorded after the event.
We've known each other for quite some time, ever since our first meeting during the "golden age" of Arma, when Sofia was beginning her journey. It was always a pleasure to see her growing as an artist, so it’s truly wonderful to receive this beautiful music from her, perfectly timed for the holiday season. From start to finish, it highlights the rarity and brilliance of such exceptional musical taste, showcased in a style that’s not often performed.
Born in Magadan, in the Russian Far East, Sofia's musical journey led her to Saint Petersburg and Moscow, where she became an integral part of the country's techno new wave. As a producer, composer, and DJ, she has gained recognition at Boiler Room, Arma17, Tresor, Mutabor, and many more, as well as at festivals like Signal and Outline.

@omasoul_live is the project of musician, sound producer, and vocalist Mikhail Ostrovsky. Previously, he released electronic music under the name Coma Soul in collaboration with guitarist Andrey Efimenko. He is also the creator and bandleader of Dharmony and Ostrovsky.
Having developed a distinctive musical style, omasoul constantly experiments with sound, always seeking deeper narratives. His work offers a captivating journey, filled with the magic of the moment, telling stories through sound — perfectly aligned with the ethos of the CultKitchen Radio Show.
His music draws inspiration from ambient layers of lo-fi electronica, poetry, and the grooves of analogue sound. The diversity and uniqueness of omasoul’s never-repeating sets have become his signature. His sound defies traditional formats, yet consistently evokes a nostalgic warmth—a hypnotic electronica crafted for true connoisseurs. Deep, soulful, and rhythmic, his tracks are paired with mystical vocals that pull listeners into immersive experiences.
Mikhail believes that ambient music is a precise way to convey meanings, describe processes, and share deeply personal emotions. As he puts it, “It’s difficult to find the right words to explain it, because the music itself is the description.” Through weaving delicate ambient textures into sonic forms, omasoul expresses his thoughts as honestly as possible, free from external expectations. Knowing how powerful music can be, he hopes listeners experience the same beautiful moments he felt while recording these pieces.
This mix for CultKitchen Radio Show features his unreleased tracks, field recordings, ocean sounds, Indian bird songs, and musical sketches from improvisational ambient sessions with Andrey Efimenko.

@hiram-668776679, a Minnesota Water Steward and environmental sound artist based in Minneapolis. His latest album, "Yucca Music" was recorded outdoors in Joshua Tree National Park, using the frequencies of living plants. This meditative work promotes conservation and communion, bridging the human experience with Nature's essence.
The mix for the show titled "Eternal Waves" presents a deep blend of classic New Age, cosmic synthesis, spiritual jazz, and experimental electro-acoustic works from the golden era of sound. The podcast explores mellow vibes encompassing early ambient, drone, and Berlin School genres, as well as delving into spiritual jazz, private press New Age, and experimental realms.

@orlesko — self-described sound as "a good cup of chai — full of rich, diverse flavours and delivering a boost of serotonin." He has been promoting and hosting parties in his home city of Edmonton, Canada, and developed as a tastemaker with shows on CJSR 88.5FM Community Radio and went on to play gigs and festivals throughout Western Canada, Black Rock City, Amsterdam, Germany, Brazil, Australia. His ear has been refined through years of personal experience and artistic exploration. Enjoy soaking in the layered waves and frequencies, the space is yours for dreaming.
Seeking out depth in music as in life; an atmosphere for late nights, long drives, or reflective moments beam out from this session, bringing the audience a journey from a dark birthing place. Paced into a contemplative sonic path that finds the light at the end of the tunnel. Our world can seem without hope some days, but the key is to not buy into the subtle distractions called fear. The truth is that there is more light than darkness. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.

Hardware music boxes addiction is not that bad if you are doing music all your life. @mad_dim is the kind of artist who spends all his life in the studio, doing music on his own or collaborating with other artists. He is the resident of Nervmusic (@easychanges) and co-owner of @ouyayebu records, plays only live and only on hardware.
Lives between Moscow and Berlin. Travels a lot and makes music, telling stories about the people and surroundings he sees. This podcast will be the showcasee of Madd – his second side, shading the light to ambient and experimental works both live and dj.

Chris SSG - The air turns before the leaves
Autumn in Japan is a special time. This mix was prepared at that time of the year when the air starts to turn crisp, before the leaves begin to change colour.

Thanks to all the artists and labels used in the mix. Dedicated, with respect and gratitude, to Peter Rehberg. He was the pivot around which so much of value turned.

@alexey-orlov-dj is well-known to Moscow clubbers for the @slowdance label and parties of the same name. He collects vinyl and passionately promotes the label. Also, he plays experimental music live in a duo with jazz drummer Sasha Mashin, who has more than once convinced Russia of his genius. Alexey also has his own video magazine about electronic music producers – Russian Electronic Music Minds.
This recording is basically one of his existing ambient playlist that he mixed for the podcast. These playlists help him in work not related to music production or during relaxation. This music allows the mind to be concentrated and wondering in dreams at the same time. By the way, the mix also includes Alexey’s own production.

A hidden gem from CultKitchen Radio Showcase at @mutabormoscow – @r-hz live from the deepest and darkest corners of sound waves. Drone textures and field recordings inside.
From Ukraine, based in Berlin, @cadihh started DJing in 2018. Through the years, her passion for different genres of electronic music grew, and she started to develop herself into minimal and experimental music, with appearances in local clubs and festivals like Humboldthain Club, IPSE, Paloma Bar, MIT DIR - Festival and more. She also played on some events in Ukraine (Kyiv, Lutsk) and Serbia (Belgrad).
2020 marked a change with a new music approach for Cadih: exploring and diving deep into fast techno, trance and psytrance music, she is now building energetic & emotional sets with a precise selection of the finest tracks. Her last sets and podcasts definitely affirm this new style: an intense and fast race, combining energetic rhythms with playful trance melodies. Supporting alternative initiatives, Cadih took part and played at several underground events around Berlin and private parties in order to keep the freedom spirit & vibe alive.
Her first production of experimental music is going to be released on Kōrero and we this is her ambient/experimental podcast for our show.

@tenatmospheres – a hidden gem that we are glad to have on the list! The mix is full of his own production.
Based in Vasto, a little town in the south of Italy, "Ten Atmospheres" is a music project started in 2018. Born and raised as a drummer, he played beats for many years until one day at “Ten Atmospheres” depth, he lost the 4/4.
He creates his music by blending the recorded sounds and playing synths in the studio, bringing a perfect marriage of his two passions. Always experimenting with new things, never limiting his inspiration for discovering a different way of making music.
