We had the amazing opportunity to talk to a Great Lakes fly fishing legend, Tommy Lynch A.K.A. The Fish Whisperer came on to talk all things fishing! Tommy, an avid trout guide has a deep passion for the western Michigan rivers that hold some of the biggest Brown trout in the United States, in addition to his brown trout fishing, Tommy also chases great lakes salmon and steelhead. We had the privilege and opportunity to sit down with Andrew Larsen, owner of Further North Lures. Andrew, a native of the Pacific Northwest cut his teeth fishing the coastal waters of Oregon beginning a lifelong obsession with fishing for anadromous and saltwater species, Andrew was a guide in Alaska for Salmon, sport ground fish and halibut. Andrew has designed and manufactured his unique lures to fish the rivers of the PNW for salmon and steelhead, the Twerk, a modification of a round bill crankbait and the Felon a spinning lure have been his trademark lures, Andrew is also passionate about fisheries conservation and revitalization, specifically Columbia River summer Chinook affectionately known as June hogs. Jon sat down with his dad, Steve to have a father son talk about fishing. Jon and Steve spent time during the holidays and Steve was happy to sit down and share his passion for fishing with everyone! John, a Kentucky native who now lives in Tennessee is the embodiment of a person who came from a working background to living out his dream of fishing full time. A former HVAC tech, John started his YouTube channel as a hobby, after a few years, he began gaining traction with his unique style of filmography and subject matter.
