This past weekend our mother-daughter Country Pumpkin team went to Kyre Park Antiques Barn’s fair! We share some highlights of the good and rainy with you.

When you get inspired seize the moment! We were inspired from a number of directions and it has led to our popup shops and cottagecore country prim decor. Waiting for inspiration can take a little while but seize it when it happens!

A sneak peak of what we will bringing to you at our popup shop at Kyre Park Antiques Barn in Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire. In August 7th we will be bringing you antiques, up-cycling and crafted creations from our Country Pumpkin artisans! Country chic, prim, cottagecore decor with rustic farmhouse charm.

Mod Podge, Chalk Paint & Cleaning Your Paint Brushes! Why not?! Decoupage and personalise nearly anything with the wonder that is Mod Podge! Chalk paint is a wonder too! Both the adhesive/finish of Mod Podge and chalk paint have been a joy to wash off my paint brushes simply with water and is easy to wash off of my hands! Varied results might happen from different chalk paint products, but I have been very happy to share my experience with Johnstone's Chalk Paint. Many of our mother-daughter Mod Podge and Chalk painting adventures will be showcased at our Pop-up Country Pumpkin and online Night Mere Studio Etsy shops, all are handmade, upcycled and repurposed with handcrafted touches to classical antique décor. Many of our items will be at our Pop-up Country Pumpkin Shop this August 7th (click for event information and to book your tickets!) at Kyre Park Antiques Barn Summer Fair (click for more details and how to get to Kyre Park) in Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire; and on our Etsy shop online Night Mere Studio. This event is promising to be fantastic and we are busy bees making our crafts and tidying up our antiques in full summer style whilst also preparing for Autumn! Who says tea isn't a lovely warm beverage of plenty? Well, it is even more interesting when on paper! Though we age our paper with care and with tea, it is for writing and display and not for consumption. I can definitely while away the hours by taking the time and care to tea dye paper. If I have a spare few hours I will do a batch and I am happy to provide the perfect aged-effect paper for your creative writing and crafting needs. On our Night Mere Studio shop we offer stationary sets of 10 sheets (A5), and I am happy to announce that we will also be offering A4 sheet sets as well! The A4 was a previous product, however it undergoes a bit more of a delicate process due to our tea dying technique, but we are bringing it back!
