Smith is one of my favourite writers with a seemingly boundless energy, but his latest video is one that certainly paused me in thought. Everyone needs to watch this man talk about mental health, and the trauma that informed his life. You'd think it would be mind-numbing, but it's not. This man is an exquisite storyteller, and coming from him, watching him bare his soul, is a sobering watch. And a brave thing to do.
