A lifetime of preparation landed me here, ten toes down facing the right direction. It was gritty in the dirt, but the surface kept me straight. Humbling myself allowed me to listen. It helped my ears to stay open to receive sight and guidance in the dark. When you think your chapter is over, it’s actually beginning. I foresaw a day that isn’t yet here, but while I shadow walk to that greatness I had to learn how to sacrifice. Depression wasn’t an emotion. It was the motivator to peel the shade off of this onion we call an image. Layer by layer I shredded doubt, fear, insecurities, and negativity. I gravitated to knowledge, swallowed pride, and worked hard to understand how to wield true sight! Now, this little grasshopper is starting to grasp the power of sight. It’s called Mindset. Once you wield it, you can do anything that was once impossible to the old you. Cheers, because I celebrate today; for tomorrow is another step in the right direction.

As well as breaking free from self-sabotage.   There’s a lesson about soul work, which is a spiritual retreat that takes place within yourself.   Diosa means Goddess in Spanish.   La Diosa, meaning “The Goddess,” can give you strength, inspiration, and empowerment.   Everyone can draw from La Diosa as she is more than just feminine divine, but she is Mother Earth.  “The reason why the seed becomes the plant.”  This is you, the female, male, non-binary, gay, or straight.   Whatever happens to you in life, you can always alchemize yourself. This is the process of transforming a natural ingredient into something magical. Like taking lead and turning it into gold.   You can always be made anew.   This is something you may not know, that Psychology is the study of the soul and not the mind.   Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes says - “Psychology is literally the study of the life of the soul.”   Psychology is also connected to the breath, the animating force of life.   Christine mentions in the book that she draws her experience relating in the fields of shamanism, tantra, cognitive behavioral therapy, and a culturally sensitive approach to therapy.   Here’s another section where Christine mentions her experiments as a therapist.  That she has the mindset that her clients who come to see her for help have wisdom stored within themselves and that all she does is creates the space that allows them to discover what was already there. Her approach in psychology is from a sisterhood perspective.   The practice of a shaman is the bridge between both worlds. The ordinary world and the spiritual world. What a shaman does, is to allow to bring a person’s spirit back into their body. As a therapist, Christine would call this a moment of disassociation, but shamans believe a person is temporarily disconnected from their body due to whatever trauma they’ve experienced. The beauty of these ancient practices of spiritual connections is now being backed by modern-day scientists.   The three archetypal journey that happens when you embark on change. I’m on the path to greatness! I'm looking to inspire and motivate as many people as I can.   Theme: This is the first novel to ever be written, about 3000 years old. It’s filled with epic lessons and stories based on 10,000 years of history, tales, and traditions. A combination of mythological stories of legends.  The odyssey takes place after the Trojan war, a journey that takes 10 years to get home. Every great story has stemmed from the roots of this book. The differences between a trip and an odyssey, is one is a relaxing getaway and a break from your life. The other one is a reality check on the life you wish you didn’t have. An impactful journey that has changed or altered your life.   The odyssey was written as songs and poems because back then it was the easiest way to remember a story. This book is comprised of 24 separate stories making it the originator of chapters.   For every book that you read, it will provide a lesson. The form of stories that holds humanity's rules. This was the originator of good and bad and the original way that parents used great stories of heroes to tell a lesson in the form of an odyssey. The perfect way to teach them right from wrong. We still use this form of storytelling to teach our young ones. It’s easier for them to follow and a way for us to keep repeating the steps similar to old nursery rhymes.   “Immortals are never alien to one another, meaning we are all Odysseus. A giver and a taker of trouble.”   We are Odysseus, the 12 archetypes: sage, innocent, explorer, ruler, creator, caregiver, magician, hero, outlaw, lover, jester, and a regular person.  “Pride comes just before the fall.”  “Out of sight and out of mind, meaning forgotten.”   Karma deals out its favors kindly to those who subject themselves with humble attributes after the win of a great victory, but for those who wield the sword of pride will soon find themselves on the other side of history with misfortune.  This is a great lesson, meaning if you show the sight of pride and greed in the moments of victory; you will create a butterfly effect of misfortune and downfalls.   Don’t be greedy when you’re already being blessed with a gift.  Life is extreme with luck or misfortune. He risks everything in the pursuit of greatness by finding buried treasure.    It takes courage to put yourself out there.   “When you dedicate your whole entire existence to complete your purpose, the universe will conspire to help you achieve it.”   You can not give up on your dream until you have scattered the entire Earth in search of the impossible.   If you truly desire success, then you must first understand the true meaning. Accepting no and failure is not an answer and subjecting yourself to embarrassment is just an obstacle of emotion. Yet as long as you believe in yourself more than those who believe in your failure, will showcase your courage of commitment.   Success accompanies failure, but belief begets completion.   “You have to make a choice between something you’ve become accustomed to and something you’ve always wanted to have.”   The only thing that is stopping you from living your life and accomplishing your dreams is you!
