This week we’re lucky enough to have a chat with Pete O'Keefe, the President of the Sapphire Coast Skatepark Association in NSW. Petes been with the SSA from the very beginning, when he and a couple of mates decided to take matters into their own hands – sick of waiting for council to pull their thumb out. From beginning as a Merimbula project Pete tells us how the SSA has expanded and working across the BSVSC so that theres now advocates for Skate Parks everywhere. Hit download and listen as we get straight answers about why Council takes so long to get things done, the economical and social benefits that Skaters have on their community and how local kids are stepping up to Skate.

They cover some of the history of afghanis in Australia, The Gahn and how many regime changes Afghanistan has had in the last 42 years. Did you know that Afghanistan was next to China. The girls didn't. Listen about how the geographical location  gives the girls explanations into why muslims are in China and why a desert country is so cold.
This weeks episode the girls talk about what they enjoyed watching for the olympics and Megan gives Jo the history of the aboriginal flag and the free the flag movement. Something they both only found about in the last week. Jo makes Megan try plant based jerky. Neither are that impressed.
In this weeks episodes the girls disagree about sports uniform, discuss covid conspiracy that china released Covid-19 deliberately, how they think the broadcasting of the olympics is going and other topics ranging from Clive Palmer, HSC students getting covid shots and why Jo thinks racists are lazy.
In this week episode Megan gives a recap of the tour who won and how some of her favourites went and Jo is convinced her local council is against non-abled people and skateparks specially if they are connected. Megan weighs in on billionaires in space and they both have opinions on the opening ceremony.
