Loving each other fervently in the context of a pandemic is protecting one another while maintaining communication between the church and the congregation. Encouraging the use of masks to the congregation when they are out and about is a form of love by being conscious of others health and doing our part to keep them safe. Holding sermons online and outdoors (while requiring the use of masks and social distancing, including the worship singers) keeps the congregation engaged while also protecting them. The solution is so simple! Continue preaching the message in a way that is accessible and safe for all the congregation. We must listen to the science and continue to preach God's Word.
