We were treated to an amazing Baku weekend where for the 1st time this season Russell seemed to be on top form. From the start of practise to an amzing performance in Quali, to a brilliant race this could be a turning point for Russell which had a Merc car that was leaps and bounds above every other car this weekend ! By contrast the unflappable Champ leader Kimi had his first rough weekend of the season. Huge unneccassary crash in Q1, good recovery drive to 5th but not his mistake free wknd. Max and Hadjer did a fantastic job to show RB was the second fastest car this wknd, while Mclaren faltered with zero points this weekend. The biggest talking point was Calpointos massive unnecessary accident which took out 3 different cars including his teammate. This was a really huge mistake that cost Alpine dearly!
The inaugural race in Spain was heralded by a masterclass from Merc and RB who take advantage of a VSC to take a much hard worked for victory , and for Max to secure unexpected 2nd for Red bull. It was really unfortunate for Norris who secured pole on Saturday, and drove a very tough battle to lose out on the win just based on strategy. A tough day in the office for Hamilton who had car brake issues and had to retire his car !
In this episode, we break down all the action from the Italian Grand Prix, where rising star Kimi Antonelli delivered the kind of performance that gets the F1 world buzzing. From race‑defining strategy calls to standout pace and wheel‑to‑wheel moments, we dig into what made this GP such a compelling watch and why Antonelli’s drive felt like pure magic. You’ll also hear our take on the biggest storylines across the grid, how the front‑runners shaped the race, and what this result means heading into the next round of the season. Whether you’re here for deep analysis or just love the drama of a classic Monza weekend, this review has something for every F1 fan.
An exciting Dutch GP saw home hero Max eliminated on lap 1 with a rare self inflicted accident. From that point on the race was between Norris and Merc drivers. Anotnelli and Russell did an excellent job to secure podium positions while Norris scored an outstanding race for Mclaren to win ! There was strategy dram at Ferrari when Lewis was not let past a slower Charles Lecriec to challenge Russell for a podium finish!
Norris and Mclaren strike their first Salvo of the season after brining a major upgrade. At a track where Ferrari dominated practice all weekend, Hamilton who has an incredible record on this track was expected for the victory but that did not happen. Max for RB, and Antonelli for Mercedes really maximized their weekend with great effort. Piastri was very unfortunate to be hit by Carlos Sainze which eventually retired his car. The fact that Sainz was given a 5 sec penalty is no consolation for the race he ruined.
