We think we see and perceive God, ourselves and others clearly. Yet scripture continually reveals that we don't see clearly and we need help to do so. Seeing God, ourselves and others clearly comes from conviction brought by the Holy Spirit. Come join us as we learn how desperately we need the Holy Spirit's conviction and what it produces within us. Isaiah 6:1-8, Luke 5:8
God meets a spiritually restless Ethiopian official on the road, showing how He calls people toward Jesus, removes every barrier to belonging, and turns searching into lasting joyActs 8:26-40
Jesus meets Zacchaeus not as a villain to be condemned, but as a lost man to be seen, named, and welcomed, revealing that grace always moves toward us before we change. This sermon explores how the Holy Spirit draws, convicts, and transforms hearts, showing that no one is too hidden, successful, or broken to be found by Jesus.
Pastor Garrick opens with a statement regarding the recent killing in Minnesota before shifting to his planned sermon. Luke 15: 11-32Last week we focused on the younger son whose sin was out in the open for all to see. The shock in the story was not his sin, but the extravagant love of his father. This week, as we focus on the older son, we are shocked to see that even in his obedience, he is further from the Father than his brother. Come find out how this obedient older son is more distant, desperate, and in greater danger than his wayward brother.
Jesus tells the story of the prodigal son to reveal that sin is not just breaking rules, it is breaking relationship with the Father. And yet the heart of the story is not the failure of the son, but the reckless, pursuing love of a Father who runs to welcome us home.Luke 15:13-24
In week 2 of our sermon series on Luke 15, Jesus expands his parable on lostness in his teaching about a lost coin. His desire is to explain his love for lost people, and expand our commitment to reaching them with him.
Jesus tells three different parables to communicate the state of our fallen nature. His first story, of a lost sheep, emphasizes how easily we wander from the path, and how committed he is to bringing us home. Pastor Shawn takes us to Luke 15 as we begin our new sermon series.

Hunter reminds us to live life with adoration to the Lord because he loves us. Hunter leaves us with a question of reflection, "what is it that awakens your soul?" and challenges us the be reminded that God put that longing in us. May this sermon bless you as you step into 2026.
Why do we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ each year? What makes his birth special and relevant to us year after year? Come join us as we explore this simple, yet profound statement, that Jesus is "Immanuel, God with us."
This Advent, join us at Coastline Covenant Church as we explore how every longing and fear of the human heart finds its answer in Jesus. In a world filled with uncertainty and striving, we look again to the One who fulfills every ancient promise—the true King, Prophet, Priest, and Savior. Now as we reach week 4, we examine the role of the Savior. To accept Christ as our savior requires that we accept and believe the bad news about ourselves, and the good news about Jesus. We hope you consider joining us in person on December 24th at 1 or 3 pm for our Christmas Eve service. We have two more days of Advent devotionals. Read them all here: https://coastlinecovenant.com/advent-devotional-2025
God’s people longed for lasting forgiveness and true freedom, but only Christ, the Great High Priest, can bring it. He steps into our place to reconcile us to God, then pours His healing and restoration into the very places that sin and sorrow have left broken.Andrew Faris takes us through what a Priest's role was/is and how Jesus is our perfect priest.
We are surrounded by so many opinions and so much advice. We live in algorithmic created echo chambers, unable to know what is really true and trustworthy. Believing that Jesus' words are perfect and authoritative, will we listen to His voice above all others? God promised a prophet like Moses, who would speak His very words and reveal His will. Jesus is the Word made flesh, who speaks to us the truth about God, our world, and our selves. Listen in as Dr Jeannine Hanger unpacks Jesus as Prophet.
Today, we look at the True King in Luke 1. The thing we need in life is the thing we most resist: to give someone authority in our life over ourselves. Christ comes not as a wise sage, but as a king, who alone is worthy and trustworthy to lead our lives.Check out our daily Advent Devotionals: https://coastlinecovenant.com/advent-devotional-2025Sermon SeriesThis Advent, join us at Coastline Covenant Church as we explore how every longing and fear of the human heart finds its answer in Jesus. We have heard the statement that "God loves a cheerful giver". Yet, while familiar with it, we don't fully comprehend its significance. As we understand the deep power and lasting promises of God, attached to this truth, our generosity will overflow. Come join us as we learn how to take another step toward greater generosity. This just might be the most important step you take in 2025.  Reflection Question: God loves a cheerful giver, so what does your next step of generosity look like?
Discover how the grace of Jesus turns gratitude into generosity and transforms a natural church into a supernatural one.
