This week Ryan and Jordan sit down in studio to discuss the career rise of Kelsea Ballerini. From her roots in Knoxville, TN, to just up the road in Nashville, she is putting the industry on notice. She has always been a great singer with a pretty face, but now she has used her life experiences to write and produce thoroughly entertaining music. These new style of songs have spread like wildfire. Kelsea has been on a media tour talking with people from all walks of life, now it’s CMC’s turn. We also discuss the complaints that Morgan Wallen fans sent in to cry about the fact that not everyone loves him as much as them. We were finally able to get together to discuss “Deeper Well.” The newest release from Kacey Musgraves. As always, we get caught up on our lives. We talk about work, the state of Kentucky basketball, among other things. Then, song by song, we listened to the album. This week we decided to get together early due to the recent passing of icon, Toby Keith. We cover a small piece of his rise to superstardom, as well as, small details/stories that helped mold him into the Hall of Famer that he turned out to be. After delay, we were able to get together so Jordan could introduce the CMC family to the Avett Brothers. The North Carolina based, four piece band has been around for over twenty years. Through inclement weather, sickness, busy lives, etc. we were finally able to sit down together and discuss a different style of artist. Zach Williams is a gospel singer from Arkansas. He overcame many personal battles through Christ and now spreads his testimony through his beautiful music. Due to the long layoff we had plenty to discuss before and throughout the show.
