For our 30th show we boarded the hype train and drank some beers from Other Half, one of the world’s highest rated breweries. We tried super fresh cans of DDH Small Citra Everything and DDH Space Diamonds and discussed whether the UK breweries are now on par with the big names of US brewing. Thanks to Cloudwater and Little Leeds Beerhouse for bringing these beers into the UK. We also discussed the newly opened Boiler Room bar in Leamington Spa and visits to our favourite haunts Glasshouse Tap and The Colmore in Birmingham.

This episode we talk about the Independent Manchester Beer Convention, or as everyone knows it: Indyman. Held every October in Manchester it is the most popular beer festival amongst modern/craft beer fans. For episode 20 we headed over to Redditch to visit Lab Culture Brewery. We spoke to sales and collaboration manager John Waterman about the unique set up they have, running a brewery integrated into a hi-tech vertical farm that grows vegetable crops under LED lights.

I love your podcast, but even with the volume up to max on my phone and car, I struggle to hear some sections. The pre-recorded interviews are fine, but the general conversation is a lot quieter.
