Description

Defense Technology Talks is a podcast designed to help technologists find their use case and cross the valley of death to enter the Department of Defense Marketplace. To identify what market to enter, a company must answer the following questions:

What does your company do?

What government problem are you trying to solve?

Do you have a Dual Use or Dual Purpose for your technology?

And what support do you need from the listening audience, if any?

These short framing questions will facilitate a discussion about technologies and find tools, opportunities, and people with the most significant potential to impact the organization and the warfighters they support.

Disclaimer: “The views represented are not necessarily those of the Federal Government or any agency associated with the Department of Defense. The content and interviews are for instructional purposes, building awareness, and facilitating collaboration. ”

Defense Technology Talks Episode #86 Today’s Guest is Jeff Krukin (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffkrukin/). He is a consultant for Earth-Space Commerce Advisors, LLCThe space industry is becoming increasingly commercial, resulting in dramatically reduced barriers to 1) selling your products to space companies, 2) manufacturing your products in space, and 3) serving your customers with data obtained from satellites. This means new business opportunities across various markets, both within and outside the space industry. It is often said that every company is IT because it needs IT to run its business and maximize revenue opportunities. This week’s small business showcase is Kelly Houston from Aerosolization Equity Investments, LLC (https://www.aerosolization.com/).He provides us with a quick discussion about his technology and attending the South East Regional Construction, Infrastructure & Environmental Summit in Wilmington, NC on 13 April 2023 (https://summit.ncmbc.us/) . Leachate and other waste waters have various elements and compounds. Oxidation wraps the larger clumped particles of contamination. This dual unit performs at 300 gallons per minute (GPM). We can custom-make units to your specifications for pH, gallons per day (GPD), or even your needs for mobility on-site. The biggest determining factor for overall fallout vs. final evaporation is humidity. Year-round aerosolization is possible at most national sites when temperatures are above freezing. Whether your site is composed of ponds or tanks, our patented aerosolization system is comprehensive and limits overall exposure to the environment because the wastewater never leaves the site where it was generated. Whether you produce thousands of GPD; or millions, our method of aerosolization will limit the cost of transportation to a fraction of your current method of disposing of wastewater. Our patent is #8,926,792.The NC DEFTECH Innovation Corner runs from 0930-1200 and DEFTECH will have several companies providing overviews of their technologies for the communities of interest.
